  • This isn't a SONG you boneheads! Songs are sung.....this is a goddam performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And brilliant at that too I might add! One of the best pieces of this type ever!!!

  • Sounds like two snakes fighting with each other at the end...magnificent!

  • lorio - this is Al with Paco de Lucia sitting in and was on Electric Rendezvous first. The following year these two and John McLaughlin named their album passion, Grace and Fire and included another version of the tune.

  • At 1:15 that sound makes breaks in tears anyone even chuck norris

  • @DANGILBERT03 cmmoooooon.... chuck norris jokes got old!!!

  • But I could have sworn this came from the album PASSION GRACE AND FIRE..NYUUG..Big hugs for posting but you are fukking up..lol

  • OMFG..ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • Wow! That ending is so epic!

  • 1 fucking dislikes, how can you dislike this masterpiece?Must be Al himself

  • best listened to with headphones, it will split your brain

  • @MalibuHealer but our brains are split?

  • incredible on my system o_O beautiful piece of music

  • Paco finger picked his parts on a nylon string guitar! The "shredders" of today couldn't pack his jock (strap)!

  • @medicinecrow65 I always thought these guys inspired most extreme music but were never given credit. And yeah....he could outshred anyone right now, still.

  • John Mclaughlin, Al Di meola, Paco De lucia, three masters at the same time, FUCKING AMAZING !!!!!!!!! thanx the for cosmic conception of music !!!

  • masa

  • Holy shit... 0_0 I just heard the guitar get ripped a new asshole.

  • Almost reminds me of forbidden..Just a couple things they probably ripped from di meola?

  • This version (electric rendezvous) is JUST Paco and Al. The trio (with John McLaughlin) also performs this in studio and while it is equally incredible, this version for me is the coup de grace.

  • This is the apex for me. Driving into a sunset with this cranking is majestic. One day I hope to be able to play this monster. Would love to see someone cover the parts.

  • reminds me of tim reynolds

  • cool flamenco duet, but seems a little out of place on this "electric" album

  • Al Di Meola and Paco De Lucia in here.

  • yes they are Paco and John. Awesome trio, they are together. Couldnt ask for better..

  • PHENOMINAL

  • GOOD STUFF

  • The two other guitars, aren't they played by John McLauglin and Paco de Lucía?

Beautiful song, by the way. I love it! <3

  • It´s only 2 guitars, Al & Paco.

  • 3, you forgot john mclaughlin fool.

  • @LimbonicFart

Wrong. John McLaughlin did not play on the Electric Rendevzous album. If you owned the album you´d know this. I´ve had it since ´79.

  • @jldibiase didn't this album come out in 82?

  • sounds like 2 guitars to me. dont know why some one gave you a minus on that one...

  • @dudtallica Its 3 guitars on the track...but not all played at the same time.

  • Wow this is simply one of the best songs Al Di Meola ever wrote! and by-far the best song from the album.

  • One of the best guitarpices ever...have listen too it for 20 years..... now cant stop...i would like too have a "livevideo" of the song

  • I still have the actual lp. Great player.

  • This piece kicks so much ass it,s hard to describe..I have listened to this song at least a thousand times. I bought the tape off a dollar store discount shelf. what were they thinking????????????

  • its a great song
