I really like the idea behind this little AU story, but the editing at the end gets a little confusing. I think Hermione jumped in front of Harry when Voldemort was going to kill him, but a few seconds before it looked like she was running away. Everything else is great though.
@ArtemisXenocide No, she's running toward him the forest. With her little look back, I pretend it's Hogwarts she's looking at or something. Not a lot of solo Hermione running scenes to use at the moment.

Ok, so Voldy doing it is a bit unnecessary, but it added a bit of drama since Harry was never going to win without all the horcruxes being destroyed. So she had to go and sacrifice herself before it was too late for him.

I've been listening to them for a few months now, but the second I heard this song, I just saw bits and pieces of the story. So it's really the only one that I could have used. It has such a nice build to it, and so much sadness at the same time.
I think you captured the essence of Harry Potter incredibly well. Especially by recreating the mood from book 7. Maybe if you could just make Deathly Hallows, we could all rest happy that it won't be slaughtered.

This was absolutely BRILLIANT! The fact that you added other bits and pieces to the Harry/Hermione angle only enhanced the story line! The way you came full circle at the end (and what ending!) was heart breaking, and the dialogue was all perfectly chosen...I especially liked the exchange between Hermione and Dumbledore. Thank you for so much for sticking with this idea, even when it was giving you grief. And now I think I'll go watch it again :)

oh ym god michelle, i am so jealous of your crossover/AU skills. i love this so much, the storyline was so creative and unique, and like where dumbledore told hermione about the horrocrux i though that it was harry and she should kill him, but then when she died i didn't understand a piece of it, and then i read the description and everything was clearer lol. WHOA, faved.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT! Hun, you are incredible. When Dumby was telling Hermione about finding another one, I was totally thinking that she had to kill Harry, so imagine my surprise. YOU ARE AMAZING. Everything about this was perfect...I really don't think I've ever seen a Harry/Hermione vid like this, and not even just cause of the storyline. The manips and clips you chose were unique, and the editing is, as always, beautiful. LOVE IT/YOU!

This is... weird. It's just that I was editing a video with this song like.. 2 seconds ago! So don't look weird if I upload one with the same song :).. anyway, the video is perfect. I first didn't get it, but then at the end I was just blown away by how perfect everything fitted! Very mysterious and original. I'd say another one of your great AU's, well done! Favorite :)

As soon as I heard the quote at the beginning I KNEW this was going to be epic. And it was!! This is my favorite not very canon couple (I truly did think there was something going on in the series with them! lol) and I just loved this! Simply gorgeous! And I loved the song you chose as well!!
