  • Berdych is a wimp. Diving like he was avoiding to be hit by a "bullit" tennisbal. And that for a man of 1.96 m . Shame on him, he should consider an acting career. But at the post-match interview he became an inch tall. Poor Tomas.

  • berdych was crushing everything in this match

  • Would everyone please stop insulting Berdych?!? I like Nadal too but Berdych is one of my favourite players. And I think he was just standing up to himself against Almagro.

  • Berdych is ballin. I like it,

  • Berdych silencied the crowd with a ugly gesture and Rafa told him

  • nadal to berdych: very bad, very bad!

  • Thumbs up if you're watching this after what happened vs Almagro in the AO today.

  • @flavourfulferret Fuck yes. This asshole really has some nerve. I will celebrate when karma gets back at him. See how the asshole likes them apples.

  • @BrotherTree1 Pure cockhead. Nadal will teach him some manners tomorrow night. And fuck me, him refusing to shake Almagro hand yesterday just proves hes a dick...They hit balls at each other for 2-4hrs a game and you get hit once in a while...comes with the territory doesnt it?

  • @rewinddk Exactly. And yep, a one sided crushing by Rafa tomorrow night should do justice to the world.

  • Berdych did the right thing. The crowd is totaly against him all the match (very annoying and rude),and Nadal is celebrating his points in a very irritating way.Berdych took it all like a man and in the end he finally showed his emotions.

  • FUck "tennis fans". Their squeak is good for football arena, not for tennis !!!. Berdych was better - won and what ...

  • is truth nadal sometimes is too over reacting, and he enjoy so much the mistake from others players....

  • loool. Rafa Nadal 10-3 Tomas Berdych, vamos rafaaaaaaaa

  • Nadal shouldnt give lessons about being a nice athlete...and not only because his shouts...ring ring atp

  • fuck berdych!

  • @arnedenexter fuck your mom

  • Berdych le agrandó el agujero del culo a Nadal.

  • @juanbaloy1984 Nadal es el número 1, así que tu te callas

  • what a stupid asshole

  • Berdych did absolutely nothing wrong here. He took out their man and he deserved to bask in it, just like the crowd was prepared to do had their man won. How different is a "boo" and a gesture of silence exactly?

Nadal can call it "very bad" all he wants, but loads of people think all his excessive celebrating--vocally and physically--is disrespectful. Not to mention his stalling time or any of that shit. Quit acting like he's a saint just because he says "the right things" in interviews.

  • Nadal needs to get over it, even in this small clip he pumps his fists about 3 times or more. And when Federer won the US Open in 2005 it was by far his most extravegant celebration

  • so what, i didn't care when djokovic blasted Roddick at the us open 2008. these people new to get over themselves and so does nadal.

  • 1:34 Nadal says "coño"

    :=)

  • I'd say that was very, very bad for Berdych. He was 3 for 4 against Nadal at this point, Since then he's 0 for 7. Seventeen straight sets he's lost to Nadal now.

  • Chilisch behaviour by nadal...

  • What happened is:

Berdych made a gesture for the crowd to be silent after he won, which Nadal thought was rude. Berdych did this because the crowd was strongly pro-Nadal because the match was in Spain.

  • Does Rafael use steroids?

  • @Castaril also Stones knows that

  • "running down a shot is worthwhile in the long run"... i don't think so...

  • did hear what nandal said at the ned very badly hhehehehe he said it twice

  • @01sean

    Thanx!

    And the Soderling conflict?:)

    Thanx

    Have a nice day!

  • storm in a teacup?

  • Its silly, how do you find that an insult? I would have told Nadal to pull his panties out of a knot. Cause if your getting upset over something like that then honestly your a child!

But in the 4 years up to now Nadal's has matured a lot and his attitude has changed from back then when he was just a "little hot head".

@allgenremusic - I play high level tennis comp myself and know how annoying it is to have people celebrate when you've made an unforced error.

  • 6:18 > Yep, that's Raul Gonzalez :)

  • The Spanish crowd are very rude and Nadal is super arrogant personified.

  • its not a intens battle, berdych win easy , very easy in 2 sets

  • Berdych is so awesome. After such a ludicrous display from a crowd that were, in theory, supposed to be made up of human beings, I'd have done some kind of Hewitt-esque display, that was pretty controlled from him I think. Spanish crowds are always the same it seems. Just look at the racism towards Hamilton in the F1, and the perverse displays at the Freestyle Motocross World Championships. Spanish crowds have to be the worst in the world. GO BERDYCH.

  • @eatcheesenow

Correct. South American crowds are the same. Very rude and offensive. I went to watch Argentina vs Great Britain in Davis Cup in 2008 in Buenos Aires and the Argentinian crowd were whistling and booing during the British player's serve and never applauded when a British guy played a brilliant point or shot.

Love the drama though, fuck all the niceties, show some passion on the court. if i were Berdych i wold have done Nani's Backflip celebration.

  • Sorry but Nadal's fist pumping and vamos are no way disrespectful. That's Nadal motivating himself/pumping himself up. Whereas Berdych telling the crowd to shhh is disrespectful. At the end of the day, Berdych was in Nadal's hometown so of course he won't get many cheers as Nadal wouldn't if he was in Berdych's hometown. So there's no excuse to be rude to the crowd. As a professional, Berdych should have just ignored the crowd's cheers for Nadal. He's not a kid for god's sake!

  • I'm a tennis player and i think that berdych shouldnt done that at the end, besides the fist pumping was not incorrect becouse nadal did it to himself and he was losing, he was right to do it to motivate. to me rule number one is to not disrespect the crowd

  • dont care who you are, you dont diss nadal and his fist pumping...

but then again, at the time im sure birdy felt like he proved himself against nadal and the crowd so i can understand why he came off as rude.

    nadal is still better tho (;

  • Don't get mad at Rafa Just because he gets happy, wouldn't you be happy?? fist pumps are normal thats just who he is

  • very bad?!?!? hahaha...this from the guy who yells "vamos" when Berdych double faulted...

  • Berdych probably shouldn't have done what he did, but i can't be mad at him for doing so -- especially when you beat someone in their hometown who's top 5 in rank and has the crowd cheering against you -- yeah, don't blame him; blame the crowd. bad manners.

  • 2:33

It's sad when the commentator, who is English uses the Country as a metaphor. 'By the man from Czech Republic'. Not 'By the man from the Czech Republic'.

  • will berdych do the same against roddick in master(miami)?

obs: sorry for the english im from brasil

  • They did mess and noise almost every time when he play so this is normal reaction for me.. That's not that polite what did they do.. Neither in Davis Cup it's not normal!

And for everyone who don't know... Nadal said to Berdych he's a bad man.

  • BERY SA!! BERY SA!! Very sad?? WTF Pathetic motherfucker!!! Very sad? It was actually gorgeous the way Tomas kicked your ass!

  • haha at the very end nadal is like "very bad, very bad"

wtf nothing wrong with berdych at all why cant he play like this all the time

  • Sure, Berdych probably shouldn't have done that, but it wasn't like he had no reason to do it. I mean people do crazy things sometimes, and when you're playing against someone in their homeland, and the people are cheering against you the ENTIRE time and you still come out on top, you feel like you're a king. Nadal is a hypocrite in my opinion to continue it and say "very bad" because many players find his fist pumping and intensity to be annoying and rude, especially on unforced errors.

  • @AllGenreMusic Totally agree with you. Nadal has no class at all unlike Federer who doesn't show his muscles every time he wins a point.

  • @mystikr

Federer has no muscles to show !

  • @AllGenreMusic He's not a hypocrite man, and his fist pumps are a way to motivate himself and to fire himself up, not to disrespect anyone. Besides, Berdych should have just taken the win, and not of told the crowd to be quiet. By doing that, he's basically making himself seem like an ass. He should have been a little more humble about his good play and should have left it at that.

  • @AndyRoddick70 yes exactly, nicely said.

  • @AllGenreMusic i can only agree to that, if the whole audience is against you, never really applaudes you, no matter how good the points you play are it is just that you feel very bad and not supported at all. it does still not justify his reaction but i think it is a very bad behavior of the audience if they even applaudes nadal after some bad hits by Berdych!

  • @AllGenreMusic

Hi! I don't understand! What was the reason of this comflict?

    Please help me!

    Thank you!

  • @AllGenreMusic He is celebrating winning the point, even if it's because the other guy made a mistake.

  • @shmoopie1812 I never said I find it annoying/bad that Nadal celebrates points regardless of the situation, but if you can remember far enough back, when Nadal was starting to pave his way in 2005/2006, many players openly stated that they disliked Nadal's intensity and his gamesmanship by taking too much time or whatnot. So considering the opinions of other players towards Nadal, it is just hypocritical in that sense that Nadal saw Berdych's reaction at the end as distasteful.

  • Comment removed

  • @AllGenreMusic i agree with that. Take for example, the treatment Federer got, not unfairly, from the US Open crowd in 2005 when he met Agassi. When he won in the end, it was probably out of respect for Agassi, more than anything else, that he didn't "silence" the crowd.

  • @AllGenreMusic no I am sorry but I don't agree with you... In every country ( at French open it's the worst ), they want their player to win... so it's normal to have more fans of Nadal than from Berdych... Berdych would have had my honor in winning in a respectful manor... Nadal wants the real and true class tennis, but when Berdych like a football player shows his finger like that, it becomes a shitty win for Berdych

  • @AllGenreMusic What do you think happens when Murray plays at Wimbledon? or when Monfils plays at Roland Garros? or when anyone else plays at home? The home crowd always backs the home player. The only reason this is a big deal is because Berdick is a dick, plain and simple. No one else would have given a shit about the home crowd. Also, Nadal is one of the most humble players on tour. He always complements his opponents. Only you and Berdick could mistake his intensity for being rude.

  • respect to berdych

    fuck nadal

  • Forever second!!!

    Roger is number one!

  • But what happened exactly ?

  • @clo97400 Berdych silenced the Crowd at the end. Nadal heard it. Nadal when shaking hand says: Very Bad (and also "Con~o stupid). He said it 2 times. Crowd is stupid: he should anyway respect the winner with an APPLAUSE at the end.. but also Berdych is stupid because making that means people will hate u. And Nadal anyway should shut up because he breaks balls heavy when he celebrates his points... so... stupid everyone in this game :)

  • Spanish wankers ??? what is that ?? i just know french wankers ;) just compare the behaviour from this public with the public at RG 09.

  • Did Nadal say: "very bad, very bad?" lol

  • yh i think so :/

  • yes, Berdych was not being very good for the sportivity(??) in the home public

  • Well done Tomas, sticking it to those spanish wankers.

I have always hated Spanish sports fans after all that racist monkey chanting a few years back in England Spain match, they are obnoxious and rude.

Shouting on Berdych serves and Nadal was almost orchestrating them at times.

Good on Berdych for not crumbling.

He probably had the idea to that right at the back of his mind the whole match. And he made the right decision to do it then instead of during the match.

  • Not all spanish people are like that who you mention.

It is an error to hate all spanish people because an eventual match. I am sure we can hate you because... someone of your nationality.

Besides of this, the bad of gesture is when it is done To the oppositer, Rafa.

Who has to silence the public is called chairman, not any player. If he wants he can stop the game and tell that to chairman.

So, no, that is not a good attittude, besides any other which could be worng too.

  • U must be one of those english cock suckers, that have to support a scottish cause u've not had a good english player for decades!! u're so sad and hyprocrite... but once again, I suppose that being english thats normal.

  • You snotty little bastard. You hypocrytical arsehole, you have totally gone off the subject and avoided answering my criticism properly.

That means you agree with me, you just can't take it.

    Blithering idiot.

  • i love what berdych did here. it's sports. two top athletes going at it in their respective sport...there's going to be some tense moments. maybe nadal should just accept that if he's going to run around like a chicken w/out a head and pump his arms, then someone MIGHT react to that and do what berdych did

  • although berdych was wrong in what he did..

the spanish fans acted like dogs the whole match..

    they just wouldnt SHUT UP!

  • its almost like watching murray at wimbledon, its so fucking annoying

  • berdych didn't shush the croud to be an asshole he did it because they had been jeering him the entire match because who's playing, and what country are they in

  • nadal's such a faggot, he looks like a neanderthaler from the stone age!!

  • and what modeling magazine are you in?

  • punctuation error FTL so stfu

  • A true champion is gracious in victory AND defeat, and clearly, Berdych isn't capable of such a thing.

  • If there are two players I think deserve more respect, they're Berdych and Nalbandian. Both are great all-court players, technically sound, awesome footwork...but no slams?

  • Don't think Nalbandian deserves more respect, any big tennis fan knows just how good a player he is.

  • No person has the right to boast whether they win or lose!

  • nadal is number 1 at world

berdych is number 20 at world

  • NADAL IS THE BEST

  • Oh shut up. He lost here and just lost again @ Roland Garros.

This is why the players who beat him DO get to shush the crowd. A well-earned privilege.

  • good one

  • Berdych is best

  • a true legend - who's won zero - loser

  • C'mon, I'm not a Nadal fan, but the guy won 6 Grand Slam titles, he's already an all-time-great. Berdych won that one, but you can impossibly say he would be a legend, that's silly.

  • Unfair-play berdych players like him are rubbish on the atp tour

  • Nadal is fagott

  • LOL :D Os LIKE IT.. Funny Berdych.

  • Berdych, what an increadible bad manouver. Shhing to the crowd.. not good. He deserved the booing.

  • The British commentator is such a gay! When Nadal scores he is like "Oh, terrific, oh, fantastic!". When the Czech scores he says nothing! You call this a neutral commentating, you British cocksucker?

  • Lol the only thing he said about berdych was one play, " beautiful play"

  • i wonder what rafa said at 7:21

  • nadal defeated by soderlin g in rolandgarros...hahahahahaha..nadal mother fucker hahaha

  • jajajaaja ta bien

  • so did the crowd initially provoke berdych, or did he just act stupidly?

  • Tennis (the same way many other sports are) is a business. Nadal winning sells, he's part of that business.

you'll see God himself before you see Nadal going to do an antidoping test.

  • noone has to go to the antidoping test...they come to them and nadal does not like it that they control him at 7 o'clock in the morning...think a little bit

  • Berdych has to be the most wasted talent out there. Along with David Nalbandian and Richard Gas-Gay!

  • huh????

  • Is Nadal taking illegal sport performance drugs?

  • U Have Issues

  • So you know Nadal and what he takes and doesn't take? Nadal wouldn't be the first or last sports person to seek performance enhancing drugs.

  • What possible reason do you have for thinking Nadal takes performance enhancing drugs?

  • There's talk on the tennis tour about it.

  • Nadal is an asshole with that macho attitude. Nothing really to surprise coming from a country that tortures animals in arenas.

Very macho men dressed in the most guy outfit ever.

  • Nikka92, have you ever seen a bullfight? A real one? There's nothing fair about bullfighting, I can tell you that. Yes, it is traditional, but that's not enough to make it acceptable. It's torture, pure and simple. Do yourself a favor: go check a real bullfight and let me know what do you think about that. About Nadal, with all due respect, he is not humble, but he loves to be seen as a humble guy.

  • Let's make it clear - i don't like bull fighting and I would never watch one, but still I don't think it's a torture. It's traditional and that's why I respect it. There are many examples when a man was killed by a bull.

Rafa is a humble, everybody on the tour said that and I know one person that knows him and she said that's he's personality is awesome and that he's very humble. There was also a interview with one journalist. She told that Rafa has a best personality. He's just shy .

  • I just don't like his macho attitude and Rambo like looks. As for the bullfight, you have guys wearing guy outfit making the poor bull bleed, confusing the animal, protecting the so called matador till the point the bull is totally wasted. Is it fair? It's torture. Plus, pogroms ( ritual killng/beating of Jews) were very traditional in Europe for centuries. Does it make it acceptable? Take care and read a little bit more about subjects you really don't understand.

  • Ok you don't like him, I like him...he's my idol. And I already told you that I don't like bull fighting but it's a so strong tradition that I respect it. So don't start with beating Jews people.....cause I am totally against it and I'm not proud of that. I respect bull fighting cause it's so strong tradition and that's it.

  • You're a fanatic LOL

  • if you resspect that you love that you acept that. the bullfight or corrida de toros. And that a similitud you respecta a bad person like rafael nadal and he is not a humble guy although he think he is a humble guy and the nadal fanatics. AND with the Berdych atitude was a cause by the bad spanish audience in that match, who (they) extol the rival.

  • your comment was ok untill you started with the stupid bull-jew comparison. that's just a bad argument. plus, rafa is not a bullfighter or Rambo. he's a great tennis player and a very respectful person. you should learn a bit from him...

  • I should learn a bit form him, right? Why don't you do the same, friend? Nadal is well known for not waist his time trying to respond to every word of criticism against him. Why don't you learn a bit from and do the same? Take care.

  • are you serious?

  • Yes, I'm serious and I'm done with you. Again, do like your idol Nadal and don't waist your ( and mine) time. You think different than me? Fine! Great! But, please, don't share it with me.

  • damn did u take ur pills buddy

  • Comment removed

  • No, buddy..Nadal took all of them!

  • Well, well, well, what the excuse now? Come on! Where is the super hero Nadal? Doing his thing: giving lame excuses for his ridiculous defeat. Nadal is all about excuses. Where the Fair Play Champion?

  • yeah yeah just shut up...every player has an excuse if he loses...you just hate nadal because he is the best

  • He-he-he, I just love to see you guys go crazy about the Tight Underware Man! I assume you're one of the many believers of the unbeatable Nadal idea, right? Well, welcome to reality, buddy!

  • i believe that nadal is playing good tennis and nothing else...and don't call me buddy i'm not your friend

  • You are not my friend? Oh, I'm devasted to hear that. Do you realize you are broking my heart, don't you? . By the way, you called me "buddy" in your first reply, asking me about my pills, remember? But that's OK. Take care, buddy.

  • thats exactly what i wanted....no sorry i don't remember...must have been your boyfriend

  • WOW, are you calling me gay? Come on, you can do better than that, buddy. I know you're pretty upset about Nadal, but, hey, Roger Federer is giving free tennis lessons on TV. Enjoy it .Anyway, you don't need to remember anything. Just check your previous posts. Take care and be happy, buddy!

  • there is no need to do better than this...

    who cares??

oh i did and i found nothing

  • yet he will annihilate you in any match. and Who is TRULY humble, everyone that beats someone gets an ego boost. but i'll take someone who beats me showing respect and being humble to me than being an asshole.

  • Incomprehensible message.

    Well, whatever.

  • YOU are an asshole

Rafa is a great player, who cares how he dresses? It's his own style and IMO it's better than wearing common shorts and tshirt .

If you were #1 in the world, what attitude would you have? Nobody knows! I think Nadal's attitude is quite humble, in spite of the fact that he is #1.

  • Whatever. Nadal is an asshole and so are you.

  • This asshole is the best player, he has achieved something amazing. Speaking about you, have ever you attained something similar or you just can sit in front of your screen and write senseless shit?

  • Regarding writing sensless shit, you've been an inspiration.

  • great answer. how old are you?

  • El puto Berdych este jugaba en la bañera con una tostadora encendida y de ahi que se muestra en el video como un idiota profundo, ademas cuando era un bebe no le daban el pecho sino la espalda. Es lo que en mi tierra se dice... hijo de puta.

  • what was the dialogue at the net?

  • The only reason Nadal does his fist pumps is to get himself fired up. Nadal plays a hella lot better when he's fired up. Besides if you've ever played a tennis match you know that you need to pump yourself up because you can't play your best tennis consistently for long periods of time.

  • Nadal was such a hypocryte here with his jumping and fist pumping after every point he won

  • i don't see anything wrong with his attitude, you such a jealous person and always try to find bad thing inside him

  • Well is that my a majority of people on this video feel the same as me

  • hypocrite? like celebrating a point is the same as acting like a pro wrestler n pissing off the crowd?

  • rafael nadal is the best player in the world no doubt but he's also an asshole. a disrespectful cunt who never heard of sportsmanship. simple. berdych did the right thing but robin soderling digging his underwear out of his ass to imitate nadal (who does it about 3000000 times each set) is still funnier

  • can u link me to soderling doing that?

  • Rafa Nadal is verry hot!!!!!!!-;)

  • Berdych became my favorite tennis player just in the 10 seconds he shut the people until he shows the up finger at the end, hope he gets far, he just hearn it 3 years ago

  • Berdych is a complete fuckwit..

  • SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! :p

  • Nadal says the Berdych´s behaviour was "very bad", but what about the Nadal´s celebrations in every single point he wins. He can jump 5 feet high, yell like a dog, making those wierd face gestures and Berdych must not shut up the audience there? No way man.
