@shmoopie1812 I never said I find it annoying/bad that Nadal celebrates points regardless of the situation, but if you can remember far enough back, when Nadal was starting to pave his way in 2005/2006, many players openly stated that they disliked Nadal's intensity and his gamesmanship by taking too much time or whatnot. So considering the opinions of other players towards Nadal, it is just hypocritical in that sense that Nadal saw Berdych's reaction at the end as distasteful.

@AllGenreMusic i agree with that. Take for example, the treatment Federer got, not unfairly, from the US Open crowd in 2005 when he met Agassi. When he won in the end, it was probably out of respect for Agassi, more than anything else, that he didn't "silence" the crowd.

The only reason this is a big deal is because Berdick is a dick, plain and simple. No one else would have given a shit about the home crowd. Also, Nadal is one of the most humble players on tour. And to all the people who are confused by Berdychs action; Berdych was pissed off because his match was in Spain (Nadals homecountry?) and towards the end of the match the fans started doing stuff like yelling when he served and booing his good shots, just overall being pretty lame. Berdych gave it back to them in the end. Good for him. Berdych had a right to do what he did, I even laughed about it when I first saw it.
