I must be getting old. I was an air traffic control supervisor when the old tower, visible through the window at 0:26, was first built, before that we worked traffic from an old Imperial Japanese Army Tower on the opposite side of the runway. We ran traffic counts of around 17,000 takeoffs and landings per month from that rickety old building.
