Anyway, it's not about watts. What makes these amps so much more expensive is that they're tube amps. Line 6 Spiders are all electronic/digital.

The amp's worth about the equivalent of 2000 USD, and the guitar's about 500 USD including the new pickups. Bear in mind though that Sweden has a way higher VAT.

I agree, Cliff was more mature than the other (and he was older, too). Megadeth is a much more talented band than Metallica, but Metallica were good before the Black Album. Still Megadeth didn't get as much credit as they deserved compared to Metallica.

I think Metallica gets more credit because of their popularity which comes from them basically being more mainstream. Hetfield's voice is "easier" to listen to then Mustaine and Metallica has much more approachable songs when it comes to non-metal fans. Megadeth is just as talented and in my opinion are much more of a thrash band then Metallica is. To be honest I don't enjoy Metallica's faster songs. I like black album material, Fade to Black, etc. Just my two cents.
