Spam is an email sent to try to advertise a company, scam people into doing something, and stuff like that. I do not bother looking at them because many of them are scams and others are advertisements that I'm not at all interested in. I consider Spam Mail, Junk Mail.

This method DOES work!! I did it on December 26th after I got my iPod Touch and it does work.

Why dont you just make an iTunes account that everybody can use. Wouldn't that make more sense?

It would make sense, yes, but than you would need to enter a credit card information sometime or another to buy songs and other stuff, so in a matter of speaking, they did make an iTunes account that everybody can use, you just need to know how to access the "free" option buy creating a new account when you try to download a free app or a podcast.

No, im saying that if you guys are making these Free accounts, why dont you just make a reserve one that Everybody like me who are encounterinmg this problem can use incase we can't actually make it. Or just for the hell of it make one. I mean you can't buy anything on it right?, so whats the big deal about just sharing a free one?. Thats what I was saying.

I'm not quite understanding what you mean. Anyone can make one, you just need to download a free app to get the create a new account option, than you create your account with the free payment option. Along the lines of actually sharing an account, I know for one that most people who have an iTunes account will probably use their current email and password, so that it out of the question.

What am I'm saying again.. Is that why doesn't someone just make one W/O their real email address but one that has very little to none (Basically a new Email) And make an iTunes Free account off of it. Then post it online in a link or something so that People Like Me who can't make one can just use/share. It's a cheap way, yes, but it's an effective one.

You can only use 1 iTunes account for a maximum of 5 computers. Otherwise, iTunes will not let you put whatever you bought with that account on your iPod/iPhone.

Yeah, but this doesnt work with the new iTunes. I'm from Canada and i saw this b4 and tried it but it shows no None option. I even switch my location to United States and it didnt work. Is there anyway to get the old i Tunes ?

Well, from what I can see on my iTunes is that it is running the lastest version of iTunes (8.0.2). You shouldn't have a problem with it, but anyways if you buy a gift card, find a redeem code on the internet, or put in a credit card number then change it to none after, you will be able to use the none option. I hope this helps. If it didn't help please leave another comment and I'll be sure to find another solution.

Umm, do you know where I could find a Redeem code? links??, cause I just got my iPod Touch for Christmas and its my 1st iPod and I dont know shit about Apple, or iPod or none of that I'm a microsoft man lol. But yeah If you can't find links do you know any other options.....could you make me a free account? ;) lol nah too much iguess.

The advantage is you can get album artwork and you can download free apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

You can also not be worried of someone using your iPod/iPhone and purchasing a $20 app or something like that. I personally don't buy anything. I get my songs from websites that sell them for cheaper.
