When they finally bring back this theme into a sonic game, it will have to be the true end between sonic and robotnik (yeah, f*ck eggman). Either way, it will end between them, one will die in the end. It would be awesome if sonic were to die and he couldn't be revived because robotnik has all the emeralds. Oh yeah, I could imagine it now...but I am merely a fan with a dream, what I've just said will probably never even happen :/

Its just tiny bursts of speed, the controls feel artificially "rougher" and the spin dash takes too long to speed up. Im sorry but this just ruins the game for me. :/
@Secretagentbonnie I suppose that applies more to SA1, but I guess they just have different physics and that's what you're used to. Besides, Colours doesn't have a spindash and Sonic 1 only has the roll. Then again, I always feel like S1 is broken because of that.

While I do Prefer the sonic Trilogy's soundtrack to the SNES/NES mario one, I have to say that games like Secret of Mana, DKC Trilogy, and Chrono Trigger really nail music better than Sonic did.
That said, sonic 2's boss themes are my personal favorites.
have you even heard some of the DKC music? It's truly some of the best in the 16-bit era in any genre, let alone platforming. In case you haven't heard it, I would recommend listening to "Bramble blast" and not the Brawl version (even though it is also awesome).

DKC did have some badass tracks. First level in the game, ummm jungle japes? (I don't remember) badass percussion. DKC2 had better songs imo. The pirate ship, both air and on the dock. Lots of DKC2 songs were great. (I don't know most of the names.) DKC3 had some alright songs, but not as good as the first two. I like the pirate ship remix in brawl, that was sexy.
But, I like Sonic more. Game play and music wise. You can't go wrong with the boss music.

No, your right, and you didn't. I think SNES had some great music. Chrono Trigger had some good tracks, with Final Fantasy 6 (Or 3) Then 4 (Or 2). Square Enix is good at making music for their games. Some DKC levels, I use to perpasly die, to listen to the level tracks again.

well it cant be helped if alot of people had more fun on the classic 5 games. but yeah sonic adventure 1-2, sonic heroes, shadow the hedgehog, and sonic colors were great games. im gonna get Sonic Generations aswell as the upcoming sonic 4 episodes.
keep in mind though, that not everyone had all the seperate consoles each sonic game was in. PS and Xbox players are upset that the gamecube got the Sonic adventure 2.

SNES came after Genesis/Mega Drive.
Nintendo was forced to upgrade their hardware, or they would be in serious trouble against a 16-Bit Sega Hardware

While I do Prefer the sonic Trilogy's soundtrack to the SNES/NES mario one, I have to say that games like Secret of Mana, DKC Trilogy, and Chrono Trigger really nail music better than Sonic did.
That said, sonic 2's boss themes are my personal favorites.

have you even heard some of the DKC music? It's truly some of the best in the 16-bit era in any genre, let alone platforming. In case you haven't heard it, I would recommend listening to "Bramble blast" and not the Brawl version (even though it is also awesome).

Once again, you fail to give one logical reason as to why "DKC is never gonna be what sonic and was!" Actually, DKC outsold any individual sonic game, so I might suggest that the Sonic game strived to be as successful at least in terms of sales
But the point at haand was the music, and you still fail to give a REASON why you feel the DKC music is "nonsense" Are you so ignorant that you haven't even listened to it? Or are you just going to cover your ears with your hands and yell "na na na"

DKC did have some badass tracks. First level in the game, ummm jungle japes? (I don't remember) badass percussion. DKC2 had better songs imo. The pirate ship, both air and on the dock. Lots of DKC2 songs were great. (I don't know most of the names.) DKC3 had some alright songs, but not as good as the first two. I like the pirate ship remix in brawl, that was sexy.
But, I like Sonic more. Game play and music wise. You can't go wrong with the boss music.

there's certainly nothing wrong with preferring one type of music over the other. As I'm sure you understand, I never implied that it was stupid to think Sonic music wasn't worse than DK music.
I was just slamming the fanboys of

Basically, for every good Sega song, there will be a good SNES song. The fanboys need to stop pretending that Sega owned the SNES. They were both great, and one happened to sell better..

No, your right, and you didn't. I think SNES had some great music. Chrono Trigger had some good tracks, with Final Fantasy 6 (Or 3) Then 4 (Or 2). Square Enix is good at making music for their games. Some DKC levels, I use to perpasly die, to listen to the level tracks again.
I'm a Sonic fanboy, who just likes to play many games.

well it cant be helped if alot of people had more fun on the classic 5 games. but yeah sonic adventure 1-2, sonic heroes, shadow the hedgehog, and sonic colors were great games. im gonna get Sonic Generations aswell as the upcoming sonic 4 episodes.
keep in mind though, that not everyone had all the seperate consoles each sonic game was in. PS and Xbox players are upset that the gamecube got the Sonic adventure 2.
