No, u read wrong. i was saying blink 182 is not the sex pistols. IMO the sex pistols are the quissiential punk rock band. No one will ever top them. But as a suburban kid growing up in the late '90s, Blink was a great pop/punk band with great melodies. I love 'em even though they may not be as criticaly acclaimed as The Sex Pistols or The Ramones.
