What if some eggs from the same carton float and others sink? Why do you think this might be? I'm assuming that one should discard the ones that float, and the ones that sink are still safe to consume??

@aphroboy That's o.k., because all eggs have a small air pocket in them (usually at the smaller end), so as long as they still drop to the bottom fairly quickly, they're fine.
By accident i scrambled eggs that were 2 and a half months expired(according to the cartons expiration date), I did not notice any bad smell or weird looking yolks but I am worried that I may get sick.. please help
