I give Carlson the edge because Keller's game is one-dimensional until he learns how to block consistently, it's part of the TE's job description dude.

John Carlson is the better TE. He gives the Seahawks all Keller gives the Jets in the receiving game PLUS he can block (something Keller simply cannot do).

Carlson is also alot bigger than keller. Kellers one of the smallest tight ends in the NFL.

That's no excuse for not blocking. Wes Welker is one of the smallest WR's in the league and yet he can block when called upon. Oh and calling Keller the best TE in the league is something only a Jets fan would say. Carlson was the best rookie TE in the NFL last year but that doesn't make me think he's the best in the NFL. Either way, I expect both Carlson and Keller to be top 10, perhaps even top 5 TE's in the very near future.

I will agree with the latter statement, and i will admit that Carlson is a better overall tight end. He is the perfect prototype TE, which is a compliment. But Keller is more of a coverage problem cause hes too fast for linebackers but too strong for defensive backs. Just depends on which type of tight end suits your offense better.
