@Masterown35 Well they Lost Ehrhoff and Torres but Ehrhoff even though he had 50 points last year he sucks in the playoffs he gets dominated physically and we signed a bunch of tough bottom 6 role players so i think the Canucks arent as good of a regular season team but are better prepared for the playoffs and we got a guy a lot like Carcillo in Mike Duco who on a line with Lapierre will drive teams insane in the playoffs.Funny Canucks game isn't on tv so i'm watching the Jets and Hawks instead

What is hard to see from this camera angle is that Torres led with his ELBOW to the head. If you look carefully at this clip it is apparent, and I was at the game and saw it. The NHL should have suspended him, no question. This is exactly what the game can't tolerate, the better players on teams being taken out by blows to the head from lower level players who are expendable. Players don't always recover from these head injuries.

For those of you who think that John Scott is nothing but a goon and that his play has had no effect on this series are out your minds. He's big on the boards, keeps the puck moving (usually) and clogs up passing lanes with his long stick/reach. All while policing the game and allowing the hawks to play as aggressive, physically, as the Canucks did in games 1 and 2. It's no coincidence that the hawks turnaround began with the return of Bolland and the insertion of Scott into the lineup.

Same ugly move as the Torres headshot on Jordan Eberle, again hitting through the other player's head with the arm going from nearly vertical to horizontal, contact with the lowest part of the upper arm i.e. the elbow. Not good hits, its using the elbows on guy's heads, Torres should get thrown out and learn his lesson.

Yes led with his elbow, swings up through hit. Look at arm angle pre and post hit on clips around 0:02 or 0:23. Torres' upper arm starts close to body, ends not quite horizontal. Look at level of Seabrook's head, far below level of Torres deltoid. What is at the level of Seabrook's chin? Elbow. Torres' upper arm is in a vertical to horizontal swing though the hit. No, he doesn't come in with the elbow pointed at Seabrooks head, but the elbow is what hit Seabrooks jaw.

Vancouver has been extremely physical this playoff series and the only reason Scott was dressed was to counter that. Its not rocket science child.

Legal hit according to rule 48. Definition of the rule is at a refs discretion. HNL did not suspend Torres as they did not want to throw the referee under the bus for his call on the play. They will never question the officials call. There was an intent to injure on the play but not called that way. Hawks played a spirited game#4 and the refs were told to keep whistles in pockets, thus no calls on Torres trip or the slash on believe it was Edler.

What is hard to see from this camera angle is that Torres led with his ELBOW to the head. If you look carefully at this clip it is apparent, and I was at the game and saw it. The NHL should have suspended him, no question. This is exactly what the game can't tolerate, the better players on teams being taken out by blows to the head from lower level players who are expendable. Players don't always recover from these head injuries.
