  • "Thank you John and Paul for the most beautiful song ever written!"

    -Sinatra

    Fail haha

  • George is playing slide guitar here, he became really good with slide in particular-really accurate and on-pitch.

  • Ugh! Some AWKWARD playing!

  • @RobertToefu really?i didnt know there was awkward live rock guitar playing.

  • Is it Eric Clapton who became the ex-husband of George Harrison Ex-wife.

  • @Eusegi13Sama

Clapton jacked Georrge... crazy huh you should read EC's autobio, real interesting.

  • Excellent photo compilation - bravo.

  • I guess George was the best beatle.

  • @pedro09rock How can there be a best Beatle? That's like having a favorite child! Impossible!

  • Thanks,George my favorite Beatle..

  • Han pasado muchos años y aun serramo algunas lágrimas por esta exelente melodia, que hermosa es la vida al escuchar la discografia de los 4 grandes THE BEATLES.

  • Interesting that the song was about Patti - George's first wife who then went on to marry Eric!

  • PERFECT!!!!!!

  • Your upload is great!!

  • Wow, AMAZING!.

  • Such a beautiful version of one of the greatest love songs ever written. I just love the guitars at the end. George despite his own feelings could play guitar as good as any of the greats, including Eric who was the master. Brilliant.

  • @TheBobitt Oh yes! Something was George's masterpiece and was a song every bit as good as the best John and Paul did for the Beatles. What a testament to Harrison's songwriting talent. I SO agree about George's guitar playing. He is no Eddie Van Halen, but he was every bit as good and talented in his own, more reserved though highly intricate and melodic way. One of the great guitarists in rock history. One of the greats, as a Beatle and on his own - of all time. Love ya George. What a song!

  • @redletter2008 Of course George is no Eddie Van Halen but we he want to be as he was George Harrison and while Van Halen is good at what he does, have you ever heard him do any other styles that what he does? Sure he could probably play faster notes than George could but really, George was more versatile. More notes isn't always better.

  • @kentaappel Really?

Are you really going to compare the two? There is no comparison. Eddie Van Halen use to only wish he could have a band as big as the Beatles ever were! I am actually laughing that you would try to compare the two. It is like comparing apples and oranges. Try comparing Van Halen to Led Zepplin which is still no comparison. Van Halen SUCKS!!!!

  • @TheGypsyham Someone else said George is no Eddie Van Halen and I meant, why would George want to be like Eddie as he is more versatile as even though Eddie can play fast, I have never heard him do anything other than the style he does with his group.

  • @kentaappel I don't know that Van Halen can play faster than George. George's magic fingers could do pretty much anything with the guitar, and always be note perfect. He was so perfect that he got bored of it and apparently nearly quit it until he learned of a new dimension - the slide. George's style was just to be understated. He felt there was more power in fewer notes, and was more melodically inclined, whereas most guitar players like to play scales really fast to show off.

  • @kentaappel i am sure eddie doesnt want to be involved in this.

  • @kentaappel After giving in to arthritis, Les Paul said, "I can only play one note at a time these days...but it's the right note." The master said it best.

  • Fantastic performance!! Thanks for the upload.

  • @DodgerInPA You're welcome. This version is my favorite!

  • Perfection!!!! George was a Genius!!! This is the most beautiful song ever written!!

  • @tinapbutler Frank Sinatra thought like you: "the most beautiful song ever written!". Good luck for you.

  • @tinapbutler Hi--'Something' is my favorite Beatle song as well! My second fav is 'Because'.

  • @tinapbutler That's what Sinatra said & he should know..

  • Great Slide show..may you rest in peace George.

  • @Drewtazy Thank you.
