nicely worded shizznah but you must still respect the emotion of the player key change or not music in my opinon and many others is the mood created by the player ( sorry for the grammer and spelling im drunk lol)
hmmm one thing about your improvisation that bothers me and actually it's the same problem i have myself and trying to eradicate by improving my theory knowledge... is the lack of development of the improvisation. i can hear the same chord development and not necessarily melody but rhythm structure is similar throughout, no tempo increase, no big key changes kind of makes the piece become monotone after a while. i hope you'll take this comment in good passing :( i didn't mean any offence
I think it is a matter of choice. This is not like Late Night 3. Here my only goal is simplicity and emotion. It is more ME than complexity. Dream away!
And don 't forget: this part is only about 7 minutes from a 50 minutes piece. There was enough development (I knew enough opportunities to switch in melody, chords and rhythm). It was also exiting (!) for me and the audience: would I manage or get a black out (I didn't)
hmm. none the less, i still liked it. i like your style and i think i will put my improvisation some time :D honestly, i'd appreciate feedback from other improvisors too.
That is great ! And good motivation for me: you give me a good reason to continue with posting the recordings. My goal is not virtuosity but emotion and simplicity.
A sensual, deep and very emotional music!I can not thank either the author of this improvisation, or download this wonderful material.
