Taunting is part of the game, yeah, but if you tear a guys ACL (which he did on this play) I don't think the taunting is needed. Spitting on him was totally unnecessary and he should have been ejected from this game. Believe what you want but I go to every NCSU home game and it happened right in front of my seats. Greg Little can go to hell.

Clean play by little, and I think any receiver should trash talk a little if they drive a corner 15 yards down the field and pancake them on a running play (from having played the position). Just unfortunate that the defender got hurt in the process.

The difference between BD and TOB when it comes to this game is that TOB knows how much in state fans care about this game and BD doesnt(maybe now he will). The bottom line is that state suffers from a major inferiority complex. Carolina owns state in football and basketball, and is overall a better school. I have never heard any argument from a state fan that can overcome the fact that Carolina is 63-30-6 all-time vs state in football, 142-75 vs state in basketball, top 25 winningest football program of all time, and the 2nd winningest basketball program of all time. State is barely above .500 in football all-time, at 534-527. Carolina is 645-477.
I'm with Kareemdowdy on this one. I played vs Greg when he was at Hillside in Durham. He's not a thug, that's just the brand of football they play in Durham. Why should Greg have to adhere to the the standard of football that cranky old white men want? The bottom line is that state suffers from a major inferiority complex. Carolina owns state in football and basketball, and is overall a better school. I have never heard any argument from a state fan that can overcome the fact that Carolina is 63-30-6 all-time vs state in football, 142-75 vs state in basketball, top 25 winningest football program of all time, and the 2nd winningest basketball program of all time. State is barely above .500 in football all-time, at 534-527. Carolina is 645-477.

I'm with Kareemdowdy on this one. I played vs Greg when he was at Hillside in Durham. He's not a thug, that's just the brand of football they play in Durham. Why should Greg have to adhere to the the standard of football that cranky old white men want? The old white men are just spectators, it's the players game and this is the nature of the game today, so just accept it. Football is an in-your-face emotional game and players will most certainly talk junk and taunt.

You base your argument on assumptions. How do you know Byrd said "an...ything" in this game and that Little doesn't ever? Fact is, you're just a sore loser and you lack any respect at all. Seems like your players only seem to care about plays like this too...that's why they still can't beat TOB's Wolfpack. Scoreboard. Too bad the entire Tar Heel team couldn't "back up" all the trash they and their fans have talked for the past three years.
