  • I think it is normal.

    You're visibility is decreased in the distance because of the fog.

    It is normal for the texture to look more greyish when it is in the fog...Like in the real life.

    The way it is done in the game doesn't look soft enough...

    If you look at some videos of Skyrim on you tube,you'll notice this on most of them.

  • Go to: C:\Documents\My Games\Skyrim or similar. Double click SkyrimPrefs.ini and find fShadowBiasScale= ##### . Set it to something like .60 and you probably shouldn't see this problem anymore. Hope this helps. Also, had similar advice went to the skyrimprefs in the skyrim folder and changed them there first and it did nothing. Has to be the folder in My Documents/ Skyrim

  • I wish i knew. I have the exact problem, and it only started doing it today after I downloaded an update that change Skyrim into German. I think its too dark inside the circled area, outside the circle is correct.
