  • jól hallok, h magyar a kamerás?:)

  • Igen am . . . It lakok Amerikaban. Imadom est a kocsit, ugy megy mindt a fenne vad. Elnezes, a Magyar irasom nehezen megy.

  • rude asshole.

  • That sounds like hostility, and we don't like hostility, do we Tommy? Feel free to go out and install your own and listen to it all you want free and clear of my voice. It was dark in the car and I was not sure how the sound or lighting would towards the tach . . . guy

  • M5's are really fast, but not really off the line. The car is 18 years old, so compared to most V8's out there now it is slow. I was accelerating as best as possible, but bear in mind traffic was moving at around 80 mph. Off the line a new M3 or Audi S4 can take me easily. The car does not have the same low-end torque as a Audi S4. After owning the car for 11 years, I feel the power most between 80 and 140 mph, since these are horsepower cars. Sluggish is the last word I think of driving.

  • Uhm... I thought BMW M5's were really fast?

Or are you not actually accelerating hard when you say you are?

I hear the engine and exhaust screaming at 5000rpm and rising but your speed is like... sluggish... =\

  • So I get home sometimes after a spirited drive and my wife asks me . . . "You were speeding, weren't you?" I tell her (like a kid with powdered sugar on his lips asked if he ate the last donut), "No, why do you ask?" I always wonder how she knew? One day I asked, how do you know? So she tells me . . . "Well, I figure if you are racing on the highway, it must get pretty loud in the car with engine and that exhaust of yours, it might explain why you yell for 10 minutes till your ears adjust."

  • The muffler itself was costly, and I think the install was about $750. Oh, and I managed to omit my cats. The effect on the driving experience . . . price less!!!

  • actually jk prob closer to $1100...but hey im definitely willing to pay for German quality that will always put a smile on my face when you floor it on 287

  • haha...most distinct sound...BMW's e34s...only problem for me was the electrical system.. message board started showing me chinese symbols....i was actually thinking about putting an Eisenmann on the 540 that I have...wasnt that hard to install right? and about $800?

  • Ahhhh, a local!!! I know this stretch of the highway like the back of my hand!!! If you ever want to test the local hide outs, let me know. When the asphalt gets warm, you will hear my engine rip down the road. Funny story, I was doing a speed run a few months ago, no cops around, but when I get off the highway, one tails me to my complex. It turns out he was driving on 202 (adjacent to 287), and heard the exhaust race by as his windows were down on a warm fall night.

  • haha....exit 33 harter rd...glad 2 see that somebody else does 110 runs on 287 in their 540 too...true bout the coppers....they find the deepest ditches to hide in nowadays....nice vid!

  • Good work and nice sound arbifox

  • just stfu next time

  • This is a really good video. People normally just get an exhaust and floor it without showing how it sounds under normal acceleration.

    Good show.
