smart phones are a bunch of low end devices crammed in a small phone, maybe they only got the mp3 reproduction ( when they don't use proprietary headphones jackets) but camera, Internet, gaming and recording is still very crap on most.

I totally agree with you, I hate smartphones! My simple TracFone (that's not a piece of s***) works just fine and dandy for me, all I need is a simple phone where I call people if I need to when I'm not in class. I don't even text.

Ok, 2 things I'd like to mention about your rant, one agree, one disagree.
AGREE: People shouldn't have their phones on them, let alone use them whilst in a class. Mobile phones were just becoming popular here in the UK during my late years in school/going into college, and the only reason at the time that I had a mobile phone was for emergency purposes. People who use mobiles in a classroom environment are being flat out disrespectful. (cont)

Oh and one more thing, you say that people should leave their phones at home whilst going to school? what if someone was to have an emergency whilst in school? Surely it is better if someone needs medicak assistance if a friend has a phone to hand rather than look for a payphone.
