in the last part of the video , were you holding the ebow at the harmonic spot on the neck?I want one of these things but i have never been good at a pinch harmonic with the fingers or pick , I am using logic pro 9 on my computer to play guitar also if that helps. I am an amateur but I come up with some pretty good sounding stuff from times to time and think the ebow would add a lot to it

I've got an eBow, too. amazing tools if you are ... umm ... adventurous and motivated, I guess? It's not a gizmo that "plays itself" just like that. But it obviously can be done.

This was one way of doing it ... and a very good one!!!

Very true, especially if you're an eBowing Bassist like myself and can't rely on the molded grooves on the bottom and have to "free-float" it to achieve the effect. That's why my next bass is going to be a custom "Effects Bass" with a Bass Sustainaic to make that facet easier and more dimensional for generating harmonics, as well as a Kahler Bass Trem for the whammy ability you guitarists take for granted! ;-)

Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedmen would have loved this thing when writing holy wars. It would have added so much depth to that song, in particular the first breakdown right before the solo. I also think this bad boy would have been kick ass with old tool recordings.
