I find it extremely difficult to get into most of these bands. I enjoy the likes of Suffocation, old Cannibal Corpse and Deicide, USA Disgorge, Cenotaph (Turkey), Severe Torture, etc. But a lot of the other brutal death metal just ends up being boring. These bands are examples of musicians that stick very closely to cliches and do not make the effort to truly push the envelope on heaviness.

Most bands now-a-days take their names from other bands songs. And yeah man, Vomit the Soul is also the name of a Cannibal Corpse song off of Butchered at Birth I believe, if not then it's definitely off from Tomb of the Mutilated.

Haha, I'm more into brutal death and grind, but CC and Deicide are two of the death metal god bands pretty much, not THE gods, but they're up there alright haha. Yeah, I didn't know Glen made an appearance, and butchered at birth is pretty much the best cc album in my opinion
