I agree with you, they are dumb. What I always tell everyone. "Friends before Sweetheart". I usually said "Friendship come and stay, relationship come and goes". I had been in that experience, in fact a fight over it. I was friend with a girl for very long time and her new boyfriend seen me being on her friend list, top list and then decided to send me a message threatening to murder me but have not yet to have the nerve to do so.
