@katpava - Sorry, the camcorder I'm using picks up nothing but eletronic noise or static, from my Aprilia's ignition-- no exhaust sounds from either bike. So it's music or nothing for this video..

Couldn't agree more, it's the first ride I want to take when roads open in Spring over the Sierra's. Kinney Reservoir blows me away - a true Alpine lake.

Close second has to be Sonora Pass (Highway 108) about 25 miles south of Topaz. Heading west on 108, past the Marine Mountain Warfare Training Grounds, you get into fantastic granite rock formations, mountain streams and pine forest. In summer, the west side can get congested with campers but it's still a great ride.

It is entirely possible that Highway 4 is the most perfect motorcycle road in California. Epic scenery and almost no traffic.
