It was the tories that neglected it. Labour has brought the commonwelath games + 3000 jobs throguh the aircraft carriers to be built in the city and the mini wage and huge redevelopment. But not a single council house has been built in the east end! In fact, during the 11 years Labour has been in charge only six council houses were bulit in Scotland (all of which were in Shetland)! There are still massive pockets of depravation which Labour and Margaret Curren have had 9 years to improve but haven't done a thing!!

It's time Glasgow East had an MP who will take real action to improve the Lives of the people of the east end.
