Once you defeat the phoenix, you have to leave the cavern through the way you came in from.

It's completley random whether you get it or not. WHen you leave the cave you have a slight chance of getting lost and finding the egg. You have the option to kick it or to clap at it. Kicking results in the Mean version of the Phoenix (the one in this video) and claping results in a cute Phoenix.

Hi dillon,

the phoenix doesn't actually drop it. Once you defeat the phoenix and try to leave thru the cave exit, you'll have a chance to get lost and enter a room where u get the egg.

you need 51 slay to kill phoenix 72 to summon the familiar get the egg or even get a chance of gettin egg
