  • you change the timing of the notes when you up to tempo. you make the 16th swing rather than being strait. THAT right there shows you dont fully understand timing. aside. decent lesson

  • it's the sherminator.!! haha

  • Useful if you say which key this is for before getting started showing the lick

  • does he uses a Mixolydian arppegio with the chromatic notes?

  • Fingering is really important when...playing...

  • his accent is like a breed of english/redneck.

  • what the hell is up with 1st and 2nd fret bars lol

  • @glinder5150 They're from Chernobyl :P

  • what key is this?

  • what guitar is this?

  • cool inlays

  • omg I love hearing his british/american accents blending like crazy

  • yes this is a g mixolydian lick

  • What brand is that guitar? I like the way it looks.

  • thanks borat

  • this IS a 3 out of 10 in difficulty :P

  • It's sometimes really confusing that you change between playing the lick straight and with a swing-feel.

  • nice lick - what key is this ?

  • why is the first and second fret slanted backward?

  • @youathoz its for intonation.... must be a fairly expensive guitar (forgot what its called though) instead of adjusting the saddles for intonation, they somehow equate the positioning of the frets, its nuts

  • what mixo scale is this g?

  • Sorry JamPlayDotCom its not scale of five its fifth degree..................

  • Mixolydian or Ionian*

  • can anyone tell me whats up with the first and second fret on his guitar?

  • @achilles09834 It's called True Temperament. Not sure exactly what it does yet though, only just found out about it.

  • @achilles09834 It makes the intonation much better. i guess chords will sustain better and notes will be more in tune. Steve Vai talks about them in a gear demo in greater detail if you wanna check that out

  • yout lesson rock! thanks a lot

  • He reminds me of Beavis........or is it Butthead? I'm waiting for him to go Uh huh Huh Huh.... How about giving us some context as to where you might play this fine piece of musicness for all us mixonovices! Uh huh huh huh.....

  • some day I`ll learn it...

  • this isent even a level one

  • I wonder how having the compensated frets affects bending? Anyone know what kind of guitar this is?

  • notice how he rates this at a 3 (FOR HIS LEVAL OF GUITAR PLAYING) lol. I am rating this a difficulty of 6 or 7

  • It's on a scale of 5, sorry for the confusion!

  • @TextEffect It really isn't that difficult. If you rate this higher on the difficult spectrum then what of things like Michael Angelo's tricks et al? You have to keep things in perspective there. All you need here are good findamentals.

  • It's always good for creativity to learn different stuffs like this.

  • He's from England living in Nashville now.

  • you do like 5 different accents when talking, i just sort of wondered whan ethnicity are you?

  • @515sharingan515 thats rude what the hell do it matter?
