  • actually, there is 1 song i call rare, cause i heard it 1 or 2 times in PvP but its not anywhere on youtube, and i have yet to come across it in game, its like they took it out in the first couple months. anyone else know what im talking about??

  • every one say Jeremy Soule is the John Williams of the video game world inmagen what the Danny Elfman of the video game world music would sound like

  • This is the best music to a game ever made it´s so wonderful

  • That "rare" piece of music is actually called "Over the Shiverpeaks" and also included in the music CD of the Guild Wars collector's edition.

  • I have so many memories haha..

  • Over the Shiverpeaks is not rare at all.

  • Ahh, remember when you could sell razorstone for 100k? Those were the days.

  • Jeremy Soule is such a great composer. With this, the Elder Scrolls and Kotor soundtracks. Topples every composer in the game industry.

    Such beautifull music

  • @macNtires Inon Zur ain't half bad though.

    watch?v=EOB278741rQ - Fallout 3

    watch?v=V1aw7hC-3L0 - Dragon Age Origins

    watch?v=5K7dfP3QlS4 - Icewind Dale

  • I've looked around, but the granite citadel is the only place I've heard this song.

  • I always come back to gw coz of music

  • So soooothing....

  • gw2 will gangbang wow and aion into the ground :3

  • i remember this music when farming oro/fa quests.... for the green drops from the dwarf bosses, selling them for 50k+ to buy ecto for 12k to spare for my monk fow...pure nostalgia, so beautiful

  • i hear this al the time

  • epic graphics

  • Jeremy Soul i a ginius

  • @Augusteborg

    understatement :)

  • how come epic RPG has some the best gameing music.

  • Music generates the most nostalgia and memories from a game which i poured hours of time into without remembering much :D

  • its amazing and one of my absolute favourits in Gaming soundtracks.. but is it rare?

  • Once apon a time this music would only play in Granite Citadel which used to be an "elite town". With the added Sorrow's Furnace it was included in Deldrimor Warcamp. With EoTN its played in EoTN and Gunnar's Hold aswell?

  • I love reality, but damn sometimes the greatest and most beautifulist things are not!! :(

  • hear this piece a lot when I'm at Granite Citadel and Deldrimor Warcamp, before venturing into sorrows furnace.

  • @wachinichu Before sorrow's died like 5 years ago good times!

  • Guild wars without jeremy soule would be nothing!

  • did cha know soule did neverwinter nights music too? :)

  • @writertrump Did you know he did oblivion and morrowind? And secret of evermore?

  • @Archlvt no, but those games are epic, my sister was way into morrowind.

  • @writertrump lol, I loved Morrowind always played it till I got Oblivion, than Morrowind was just never the same.

  • @ALEXIS25777 It would still be a great game....

  • @ALEXIS25777 life without jeremy soule would be nothing :)

  • @ALEXIS25777

Same thing for Oblivion and Morrowind AND Guild wars 2 :p.

  • Its name is "Over the Shiverpeaks", it was composed by Jeremy Soule, just as the rest of the GW soundtrack.

  • awesome.

i noticed that the drag me to hell theme sounded a bit like this.

  • I was thinking, isn't that a pre song?

  • I think this song used to always play in Yak's Bend when the game launched. It seems like I never heard it the last 3 years or so. Great song.

  • Sounds like Bach a famous Clasical Composer... maybe some dude made it modern version of one his songs

  • violin concertos?

  • Yeah, it does sound a lot like it. I bet it's an arrangement.

  • this is called far shiverpeaks, that is eye of the north btws

  • das lied kommt im tut im prophecies vor

  • this is at Granite Citadel

  • I'd hardly call this rare...but nice all the same.

  • You can hear this at the Deldrimor Warcamp.

  • Music to rival halo's marty o'donnel. i love nearly all of jeremy's songs.

  • Guild Wars music is so beautiful, and quite relaxing. I often play with only the music on and all other sounds disabled.

  • Could you tell me how to get the music file? Or did u pay for that soundtrack thing?

  • hmm...I recorded this music from a computer game called "guild wars"

uhh...or you can find this music in the collection box of guild wars.
