Had this of been a real evacuation and the Slide Raft was armed, his operation of the door would of meant he would of been pulled out of the aircraft by the slide deployment and the Electronic Power Assist (EPAS) on the door. The correct way is to always secure yourself on the Fuselage Assist Handle, Operate the door, and once the slide is fully deployed step back at the jumpseat and direct passengers off. If this was an initial training day then fair enough, but certainly not for exam purposes.
errr - it looks like these are road warrior passengers invited to have some fun with DL at their crew training HQ: I don't think the purpose of this is to get them to operational standard...looks like fun anyway!
@mariogalileo Thats why this is TRAINING!! People are trained during training so obviously mistakes will be made until training is complete. I would fire you for stupidity.
Jump and slide, jump and slide!!!! Stay on your feet!!! Keep moving!!! Exit blocked go that way!!! Come this way!!!! Keep moving, leave everyhting behind keep moving!!!!!
Each airline use their own commands, it depends what nationality responds better to a set of commands.
Appears that commands were "ad-libbed" and he's not holding on. Passengers will barrel right through you and potentially knock you right out the door! The instructor doesn't even seem to notice these flaws either!
This was at an FT DO? Interesting...
