  • TRUCK DRIVER IS LOW PAYED JOB THAT DONT GET YOU NOWHERE...TRUST ME IM DRIVING 22YEARS END HATE EVERY BIT OF IT.. GO BACK TO SCHOOL...

  • @jigibao

Truck driving job is well payed, You can easily earn close to 100 grand a year doing a truck driving job, Depends on how many hours you work. A decent living in the u.s only requires a 10 grand a year or more. I did truck driving jobs in the past and I now own a bmw.

  • I'm not even a trucker and this sounds like a personal bitch about the industry. EVERY job has it's down side. Why is the trucking industry so special. Crying like babies. IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB, QUIT AND GET ANOTHER ONE.

  • making a right turn is the most dangerouse of driving, because of tail swing, off tracking, and you got the squeezer to pass. so make shure you practice and study the safety of right turns.

  • @sideslide23 on them right turns. Yep, also checking your blind spots when changing lanes as that one car can just keep alongside ya :) On the right turns just swing wide and stay off them curbs :)

  • Excellent video i would like to learn more about this !

  • I have had my cdl's for 3 yrs now. i ran my own truck transporting cars, but everywhere i apply they say i dont have any verifiable experience. i dont know what to do. what are some companies i should know about. I live in Tennessee. Thanks

  • You should be able to verify it through your tax return or your insurance company. This doesn't make sense. Let me know, Send me an email.

  • @truthabouttrucking I still maintain my Class A CDL to this day while working in a position unrelated to the industry however I think a lot of companies do underpay there workforce and had my fill of doing the Swift thing for over 2+ years only to realize it was a dead end career move. Planning on still doing the upkeep and physicals on the license but don't see the money in the industry considering my overall work experience is possibly incompatible with trucking.

  • Being under 21 is going to be a problem, as well as having no experience. For OTR, minimum age is 21 and companies will require between 6 months to a year of verifiable driving experience. Unfortunately, your CDL will be looked upon as useless, without the experience. More than likely, you are going to have to re-attend a CDL school or maybe a "refresher course", which is difficult to find ... in order to meet the requirements by the insurance carriers and companies.

  • @truthabouttrucking I find it stupid how gaps in work experience as a trucker count against you where one finds themselve not a viable pick for employment regardless fo a clean history and background and a clean MVR. Yep clean MVR, however that darn DAC. I left my experience off hauling the U.S. mail locally as seasonal work however the industry never took into account overall work experience.

  • i am under 21 have had my cdl for about a year and a half. and it really hard to get a job. just wondering what to do?

  • Hi eau9999 - I'll contact you by YouTube message...thanks, Allen

  • @truthabouttrucking may as well ask a question, how does one combine technical experience, computer experience, and pro driving experience into a job in the trans industry.

  • I lost my job 4 months ago. How can i get a free copy of your book. Please help me Thanks.
