It's basically the cat (female) is fertile and is wanting to reproduce. But it's like intense lust: all it can think about is "oooh guys I need xxx bad!" Like the time of the month for human females, female cats go into heat pretty much on a set schedule.....the animal kingdom is weird but funny :)
