I have been performing in the club and cabaret circuits forover 50 years and I'm ashamed to say that I had not heard this song before June 2011 in a hotel in Blackpool. It was performed beautifully by a lounge pianist /vocalist at the Queens Hotel, I just sat there completely blown away and when he finished singing my wife turned to me and said, "Is'nt that a beautiful song...I couldn't answer her for around 30 seconds as I was so moved by the lyrics..."SUPER SONG"

This was one of the best love songs Sinatra ever did. This was cut as a single. I don't know what the flip side was. It may have been "the only couple on the floor." I know about 95% or better of all Sinatra's work. From the brunswick years, to Dorsey Columbia, Columbia, then Capital, the Capital/Reprise year or two, and finally the reprise years. In my opinion, the best love songs with so much feeling were in the reprise years such as this song. Very beautiful, and very deep.

Why is it that this incredibly beautiful song of Sinatra is not to be found on any of his cd's ? I have been looking through all his cd's every time I go into a music shop wherever I have been in the world for more than 12 years - and no luck. Any suggestions ?
