Ohhhhh, if she's sight reading that makes more sense - i'm doing this for my grade 8 and it sounding wrong the wayshe did it! like she'd missed the key changes...nice atmosphere though
RFL! I'm presuming that the first sentence is sarcastic, and not meant to be serious in anyway....
The piano is fine, or should be. Most grand pianos are good enough to be usable. Besides, excepting in the case of a piano where keys don't work, it's out of tune and everything is wrong with it, part of piano playing is adapting to the pianos :P
Anyone know what the equipment being used is?
I agree heartily with the last sentiment. Let's get in someone that knows how to play the piano.
No offence.. but I've heard better from some random kid sightreading this at my school whose about 3 grades lower than this was set at this year for ABRSM.
Not sure what's going on with it. Might just be the really bad recording, but then I'm really worried by how you recorded it....
I've heard better. You're missing some rhythimic things in the first 8 bars. And in general, this piece needs to have a 'steady temp'. Thus you change the mood between sections by dynamics and articulation.
She modified(dunno what other words to describe) the song too much . Sounds like crap with coordination with the wrong notes .

Doubt shes sight reading it if shes got that small audience and in the description it says its a recital..

She is a PRO very OBVIOUSLY RIGHT?
I think she have 3 options:
Change a piano
Change the equipment
Change the player

I like this take - it's interesting and well played

you seem to be playing this piece very tight and you seem to be struggling all the way through like its a chore to play!

¿Así o más lento?

I really don't like this take on this piece. The beginning should be much faster, giving more contrast with the slower, more relaxed sections.
