It's a workling dog and people that don't need a working dog shouldn't get them. Work doesn't mean you need to make sport trainings but you need to know what your dog is capable to do. A proper guard dog should be happy, social but suspicious. The man was stood their doing nothing and the dog was trying, where as it should of ignored the man untill he made a move at the owner. As to the rope I do it as I'm 55kg and Kingo is arround 65kg of muscles so we makeit for security, also we lost some collars and leashes and aftr this I like to have him on something more. Training with his granddaughtr when she was arround 8 months old was quite exhausting when it was comming to hold her down and the purpose was to use all the power of the dog not t calm it :)

no daniela those myths are not true, and pitbulls are one of the most human friendly breeds you will meet, they were created by us though to be dog aggressive as they were bred for dog fighting so owners must be carefull to socialize them around other dogs and children when they are young. when you have an aggressive dog it is the owners fault not the breed. it takes a bit of work to make a pitbull nasty! any dog is capable of aggression but you shouldnt worry about avoiding a specific breed.

@sedod66 My presa Alonso only ever show's aggression when he feel's as if harm is trying to be done to my 3 year old son. Other than that he's a BIG baby that probably would watch an intruder rob my house, as long as the intruder didn't step anywhere my sons room. he's been around so many different people (95% of whom are quite intimidated at first, even when he was a pup, which doesn't startle him in the slightest bit) and other animals, and he is always friendly and patient as can be.

It's almost as if they are completely aware of the prejudice against them. Frankly, I think they are, by observing the responses of the people who show their intimidation around them. Presa's are a very smart breed and nothing seems to get past them. One of their most rewarding traits from an owners perspective.

Who cares? I have had pitbulls for 13 years and I live with a dogo. You can´t compare the two breeds.

A Dogo/Presa is much bigger and it has a head the size of a pitbull.

Both breeds are powerful, so arguing about which breed can win over what breed, or you over a Dogo/Presa, that´s a waste of time.

We have a rednose pit now, and I would say that the whole dog almost fits into the mouth of a large Dogo/Presa male.

@MetalxGoDsx3 You need to better understand the history of these dogs and molesser breeds. Canarios are Mastiffs and are breed to attack people. Hence their large size for high impact situations ie the ability to knock someone over, Pitbulls as fighting dogs were breed to be only aggressive toward other dogs and be overall work dogs and guardians. This means they had to not only be strong but agile, quick, and have endurance. So really you are comparing apples to oranges.
