ok with STO looks good but a game that is half full of races is shit . there are a few ways that they could have missions for klingons eg pvp hunting missions for people in a system also if u guys look at EVE online game play and WOW u will see what they could have done to make it better i would rather wait for a more complete game then a half full glass to drink from no offence to people who love the game for what it is STF with klingons ATM :) peaceout guys

I disagree with PvP Oriented gameplay for Klingon only. There can always be PvE mission archs with Klingon's that don't involve exploration, and instead domination. I mean what if they did that with WoW, where Alliance were the only ones getting PvE content because Horde should only want to kill Alliance. so horde will be PvP only. It wouldn't work and it's lazy, those are genuine complaints and should have been ironed out.

@lothor1234 yes but in wow the horde is portrayed as being a group of civilizations that feels like they're being picked on and who had no choice but to get together. In ST the Klingons have always been, since TNG at least, as being warriors who always fight, so I feel its a natural role for them to play in a MMo

Still, I dont feel it justify s PvP only orientation for the faction, as you could do a number of PvE things including waging war on other Klingon factions, invading other systems, ext. And yes, i agree that the Klingon's are a War waging faction, but at the same time they wage war with everyone not just the feds. Like everyone says they will probably add more pve content later, but for now it feels underdeveloped. Granted I never had any intent on playing Klingon, just noticing

@Averyfane: Monthly will be in par with your other mmos, which is 15$/month, cheaper if you subscribe for longer. Better than EVE, in every way. You won't have to rebuild your economy out of scratch when you just lost a ship. Enuff said. Market system is based off skill points, devices and merits. No actual gold. I would imagine devices would be tradeable, not sure.

Those things you said about LotRO are incorrect. This status of "Monsterplay" was nearly two to three years ago. Now it's way better. You can roll out a monster from beginning, add over nearly 80 abilitiey (attacks, buffs and so on) and much more stuff.

Please inform yourselves before giving incorrect informations.

You guys got so much more accomplished this episode without a certain, almost newbie presence there to repeat known info. I really want to see some interface talk about the actual interface itself. Like how am I going to become a better engineer? Am I going to have to play some mini game on a console to complete research on improving my engines? Unleash the interface, we only got 2 weeks before open beta anyways.

Reminds me to much of monster play from LoTRO, and I hate how they currently handle that. if I get this game, I'd rather play Romulan, but Klingon is my second choice. Finding out it's not going to be a full experience makes me think I'll wait for SWTOR. I really can't stand Federation.

@tai006 I really agree with you. I wanted to play Klingons as my primary character. Now, I like pvp a lot but no one lives on one play style alone. Now granted I could play Fed for my PvE fix. But why do I have to play a charter I don't want to do, just to play a different way.

So Klingons are to expect que's and be a side dish pvp when your bored playing feds.

Like how they down play Lotro's monster play like you only get 2-3 powers and cant advance your character. Obviously they havent even played the game . Because everything they describe is exactly like lotro's monster play. lvl 5 doesnt even scratch the surface Of what level you get to.

My theory n the Klingon game play is... CONTENT. PvP is great and dandy. But you can also do combat against NPCs. I know why the Klingons were selected as primarily PvP is because the Klingon Faction is a more combat faction. However, the NPCs could also be a source of combat.

Will the PvP content be enough of an enjoyment to be playable for a year ? However, PvE is good when you dont feel like playing against someone, but want to do combat. Of course, TIME is against Cyptic.

O and btw, there is PVE for klingons, its just that all that PVE is against other factions, like ur not shooting... ferengi or so, ur shooting federation AI. There is also missions where its Klingon players vs fed AI+fed players, and ye, its badass!
