  • I tried this and I loved it. I could really feel my body making the best out of those 8 minutes. Listen to her, though, you really need to push yourself throughout the routine for it to be effective

  • How many calories would you say are burned? Just a round about amount, I know calories differ between each person.

  • i actually appreciate her working out for 8 minutes. There are other parts where you can add to this initial 8 minute routine to customize it to suit yourself. I enjoy doing these workouts and i really do feel the burn.

  • This is a good warm up but it's a super low intensity for beginners. On the mountain climbers you really need to max out and push hard, plus having a timer instead of counting works better because it challenges you to hit 100% of your max, you should be exhausted after a cario workout for it to be effective.

  • @6Marceline9 all you have to do is use a chair in your house or a bench at a park and stand facing away from the chair or bench put your palms down on the seat with your feet out in front of you and do dips, then stand up and bend down and touch the ground and walk out with your hands and do a push up and walk it back with your legs straight.

    Do as many reps as you can and you'll have nice toned arms in a week.

  • @hawtpurpleful You need interval training, search for bodyrock on here and you'll see the workouts, fat comes off in % not just one spot on your body but all of your body.

  • the best way to work off belly fat is LONG duration of aerobic exercise, not crunches or sit-ups.

  • Thanks for all your positive comments! INTERVAL TRAINING... the new "fat burning zone". The idea is to combine short bursts of activity that require you to breathe so hard you can't talk followed by easier exercises that let you catch your breath. So combine this video with strength training and other cardio to make a choose-your-own-adventure workout program!

    Eight minutes of cardio won't improve health or wellness. Pathetic!

  • The 80's aerobic dance class is over and is dated. The problem with a "personal trainer" demonstrating is that she's over fat around the mid section and while most fat American's would see her as being lean, she's got belly and back fat, un- motivating- why not just go for a good steep hike, or do a proper strength program? She probably wouldn't/couldn't do it, as she's breathing hard 1 min in the program.

  • @clearlogicify Also, you could easily loop this exercise or combine it with other 5-8 minute workouts so you end up with a total of 20-30 minutes-- you can customize your workout or do a different combo of videos each time you exercise.

  • wow finally a reasonable everyday training instead of all these other trainers trying to convince people that they should run 10 miles a day and do 100 sit ups before bed..pff who does that. Also I'm a 17 y old girl and I was NOT able to do it all just because I was tired! how bad is that right?! Really opened my eyes and will definitely try to do it every morning just to feel as good as I feel now after I've done it. THANK YOU :) xx

  • @googlevideosrule Well obviously it doesn't have to be. It would probably be optimum. But even 8 minutes of exercise is better than no exercise and many people get no exercise at all.

  • ideally yes, but if you combine principals of interval training with strength training you will keep your heart rate up and burn more calories per minute during and after your workout than a moderate cardio workout when you are at 60-70% of your maximum heart rate but it can be sustained easily for 20 minutes
