When i was little, this was the only episode I watched from this show (we didn't have cable, but i owned this episode). I would look through all of my vhs tapes just to watch this, and i was like what, 4 or 5? And I still love it? That just means this is the best fricken show of all time.

Billy & Mandy totally stole the whole concept of this show. Mina and the Count is 10x better. The count LOVES mina and that relationship is so precious and much more interesting. Billy & Mandy just gets so bland because negativity can get so cheap.

Even though Dracula in this cartoon becomes friends with a little girl, it is a lot truer to what Vampires are really like, unlike Twilight, and I like the horror references. This show deserves a proper series.

In most of the stuff I've seen (older Dracula flicks, anyway) the spell or trance was only broken when the vampire who cast it was dead. I don't know the complete mythos behind it, though, so I could be wrong.
