  • ...If you insist on saying Merry Christmas, then I wish you a Merry Yule/Saturnalia/Bodhi Day, Winter Festival, Hanukkah, Kwanzza, and Winter Solstice.

  • Saying Merry Christmas is disrespectful to others who do not celebrate Christmas. It's religiously discriminatory and pressures other to convert to Christianity/Catholicism. Roughly 3/4 of America are Christian aand you're complaining about the stores trying to include the other 1/4 who celebrate a different holy day in the festivities? How hard is it to wish happiness for someone on THEIR holy day?...

  • Forget all the grinches and spoilers who spew hate... Keep saying Merry Christmas - Listen to the words of 'Say Merry Christmas' by the ACLU choir.

  • Great Video, with some good points. Merry Christmas to you!

  • There has always been an attack on Christmas, it was stated that it would offend the minorities who celebrate something else during that time of year. But really, it has to do with atheists trying to minimalize the public viewing of Christ, by removing the word Christmas and replace it will a secular word with zero meaning, holidays.

  • It is incredibly sad that the dilution of American culture (it IS American culture, you can be an atheist and still celebrate Christmas) will seemingly never stop.

  • Merry Christmas in the name of the living Christ JESUS!!!!!!!

  • I'm sure you've heard this before, but Christmas is a commercialized version of Winter Solstice. It really has little to nothing to do with Jesus.

  • N O

  • ok whateva

  • Let the faculty at Tinternvale Primary School in Australia see your vid. They can let the single Jehovah's Witness student (the gist of the "playing-Madonna-and-nursery-rhymes-instead-of-Christmas-songs") concert program)opt out of next year's Christmas concert so he/she can leave Christmas alone and celebrate his/her own religion from the "worldly" people!

  • hi im a mom and yes i kinda started to notice things slowly changing but now its much worse yes no christmas carols for my daughter in school ,her first year ,i asked her teacher when the christmas party was and she said its actually not a christmas party it is a holiday party ,christmas is politically incorrect,,wow...noway politically incorrect i just cant get over that,,i cant im trying to understand this,im 40 yrs old dont go changing this, ive been saying merry christmas since i can talk

  • hello

  • Happy Saturnalia.

  • What are you talking about? Christmas isn't under attack, it's the biggest holiday in America. I was under the impression that Easter was the holiest holiday but we don't care about Easter. Easter doesn't involve spending and eating with reckless abandon.

  • Im tired of this small majority of people attacking Christmas! Happy Holidays is so offensive when 90% percent of Americans celebrate Christmas anyway. If they don't want to celebrate Christmas then go to work and leave Christmas alone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! =D

  • Could you really be just as happy without gifts? If so, don't accept a thing and see how you feel about "Christmas". Don't give your kids anything more than a hug and a nice breakfast and see how THEY feel. It's not PC really...it's about Christmas being NOTHING more than a cash cow that moves our economy. Happy Holidays? Merry Christmas? Say whatever you want, but folks shouldn't pretend that there's any Christ in Christmas other than the coincidence of the same letters in both words.

  • your stupid,it's not a coincidence...the whole

point of christmas is to celebrate Christ!

  • i think what hes saying is that people nowadays dont think of christmas as celebrating christ. i know what christmas is about, but for me its a break from work. i agree that the economy relies on christmas for big money.

  • @Fett665

err... Christ was born in a different time, Christmas is based on the pagan holiday of yule, horus, krishna and a number of other gods were born on december 25th too, all predating christ..

    Coincidence?

    Merry Yule, wintersolistice!

  • @Aidan0128 *high five* A Merry Yule to you brother/sister! Many Christians aren't even celebrating Christmas anymore due to it's pagan origins. The bible even says not to take part in it.

  • Agreement. I'm agnostic/non-religious and I celebrate Christmas in a Christian way just because that's a culture that I have always been around. Christmas is a CHRIST-ian holiday and calling it something else doesn't change that. People need to just chill out and get over themselves.

  • Merry Christmas

  • agree its Merry Christmas this politically correct is getting out of hand ppl dont want to celebrate well then dont but dont try tomake money off it either or take the holidays for it. I agree with the video and for the school i wont go and see the shows anymore near CHRISTMAS they have nothing to do with the holidays and im not changing what i believe just to be politically correct well to be correct we have celebrated xmas a very long time.

  • I agree its Merry Christmas this politically correct is getting out of hand ppl dont want to celebrate well then dont but dont try tomake money off it either or take the holidays for it

  • Amen to that. MERRY CHRISTMAS.MERRY CHRISTMAS.MERRY CHRISTMAS.

  • That was supposed to say "God bless you"! :)

  • Merry Christmas! Go bless you!

  • Yeah, you're right! I love saying "Merry Christmas!" It's not just holidays, damnit!

  • happy holidays!

  • Another good video! :-)) *hugs*

  • Christmas is a day on the calender. Yes it's a religious holiday, but there shouldn't be anything different (from a secular sense) to wishing someone a Merry Christmas as there would be to wish them a great Memorial Day weekend.

  • And why the heck can't you just say "Happy Hanukkah"? Why do I have to say "Merry Christmas" to make you happy? What should I do if I don't know what religion you are or aren't a member of, or, worse, know, but don't know what (if any) fall/winter holidays that members of that religion celebrate?? What should I wish people then?

  • Also, if stores make a point of stocking items that say something generic, like "Happy Holidays!", they have all Fall, Winter, and early Spring long to get rid of them.

  • Can't help agreeing! The school next to me holds a "Winter Fayre" - they won't even use "Fair" because it's not pagan enough :)
