I first saw Breaking Glass when I was 15 years old - that's 30 years ago, The US looks like England did (at least in the film) then. Totally broken down economy, social structures that don't work anymore, abuse of power and authority... JEEZ if only I was smart enough to see how damn prophetic that film was. We just watched the last run of my original 30-year-old VHS last night. Introduced it to my teenage son. Keeping the music and ideals alive in the next generation. Love this film & message!

Breaking Glass is one of my favorite films and LPs.
Hazel O'Connor was highly underestimated as a musical artist, imho. She broke new ground during the post-punk, pre-new wave transitional era.
