We have a Sexy Rexy rose bush that has changed color, half and half. One side is a totally different Red Rose, and the other side is the Sexy Rexy rose blossoms itself. Any idea why this happened? Or does it happen often?

This video demo really focuses on folks that exhibit their roses, so I'd assume you would scan your rose garden for those buds that side pruning would benefit from--those buds that might develop into show blooms.
I'm curious, does side pruning increase the longevity of the central bloom? Thanks for the video.

Yes. Generally, it should work on any plant with sprays of flowers.

I work in a rose garden with 3500 bushes. It's hard for me just to keep up with the deadheading!
