A friend of mine broke off a cooling hose on his bike, it would have been a long push back if some guy on his 4-wheeler wouldn't have shown up to tow us. He was too scared to get towed though so we all swaped bikes (there were three of us) and I got towed, not fun when the trail is nothing but rocks.

1st mistake: either go straight through a puddle or around it. 2nd mistake: it was a 2 stroke, the power band is touchy, the attempt to roll off the throttle was too little too late. 3rd mistake: it was a honda ;)

Hey next time you have to tow. try to put the rope on one of the pegs and bring it over to the other peg making a loop in the middle where you would sit at making the rope going across the back fender which will give both riders an easier time to tow. if all that make since to you lol.

I don't know about that for sure guys. I believe it's easier on a 250 to get around because of more bottom end, you can just crack on them a bit and away you go. A 125 lacks that bottom end. Now, holding on to a 125 is a little easier.
