  • his bluff didnt make sense

  • i tried this yesterday online and got snapcalled -_-

  • @TheGrannyWhore doesnt work at nl2

  • @linccnil Nor anything below nl200.

  • phil, what a classy guy

  • Just hearing Norms voice at the very start.. It's hard to describe, but. It fucking sucks. He sounds like that idiot standing to close to the table, and making comments that don't need to be made. ... Long live the greatest commentary duo of all time. AJ and Gabe.!.!

  • I'm 95% sure that's Norm MacDonald announcing.

  • Galfond didn't only hate the river, but Antonio wanted to call out it was shit card and when Klein bets at it, i don't think anyone at Galfond's level is able to call that - meaning, he knows he is behind more often than not and a bluff here is almost never in Klein's range given Klein is incapable of bluffing so big on such a draw heavy board.

The reaction is enough confirmation you need to show that was a sick bluff. Unlike most people who are spewy fishes and think 'ZOMG STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!'

  • thumbs up for the 2+2 love.

  • That was a perfect river bet.

  • Esfandari is such a rock and a faggot

  • phil took that very well:)

  • it was good play.. galfond probably read klein raised the flop with two pair (j-9), called the raise on the turn and when klein rivered a full house, didn't wanna lose value so he bet out close to pot size.. its a believabe story

  • what a fish. raise every street and raise call turn with a T high flush draw...

  • David vs Goliath?, more like Fish Vs Galfond

  • croak looks like a old phil laak lmao

  • @doubblematic lol

  • he didnt have to show his hand in the end. what an old asshole

  • @bbbbbb222222 The reason the show a bluff like that isn't to be a jerk, you do it so people wont believe you later on when you actually have the goods. its a good way to induce callers on a big hand.

  • @westbororapist that is a valid point, I didn't think of that. A question about poker: if you want to, can you show one or both your cards while playing it?

  • @bbbbbb222222

If you're playing in a tournament then you cant do that. If you are in a cash game then do as you'd like with your cards.

  • @adolfolicious ok, thanks for your reply. In "magic the gathering", another cards game, you can show your hand whenever you want. Even in professional torunaments with big prizes.

  • @bbbbbb222222 you are never allowed to intentionally show a card or both during a hand in tournament play. If you do so you will be usually be given a 10 minute sit penalty where you cannot play and your blinds will be folded to any bet.

  • @westbororapist so I guess everyone else starts playing faster to take more of your money, lol.

  • @bbbbbb222222 (when you are in a sit penalty)

  • @bbbbbb222222 No, they still have 7 or 8 guys playing usually so they still play hands straight-up. I don't think the penalty is really anything more than an excuse for player to go to the bathroom, get air..etc Im sure that to continue to break the rules could become grounds for longer penalties or lead to disqualification. I've never seen it come to that though. This game above is being played for cash so the players make their own rules, im only talking about tournaments btw.

  • @westbororapist You seem to know a lot. I would like to start playing, not to bet money, because i don't have any, but just for fun. I can't find a group though.

  • @bbbbbb222222 PurePlay.com it's a free poker site that i frequent. If you're on facebook you can use the chat room on the right and give me a hollar for help. im on right now and probably will be for a couple hours or more. otherwise i am normally on during the week at night. my name is Ross Vandenberg you'll see me in the chat room or ask for me. they all know who i am.

  • Amazing bluff...

  • the call on the turn was actually a weak move by klein (i mean you dont just call at that spot with a set or two pair you have to raise because of the proyects ) , i dont expext to know what went trough galfonds mind at that moment but im also not the apropiatte person to judge a top pro like him .

  • @LightkiIls lol just lol

  • Amateur: "Oh another Jack just popped off. If i bet big here I can rep 3 jacks coz that is like the nutz right?"

  • @Niccaman he rep full house on the river either pocket nines or j-9

  • @Niccaman he was trying to ''rep'' a full house you fucking donktacular shitdick

  • @nikali4 ur obv trying to rep a big black dick in ur ass

  • @Niccaman you re an idiot

  • @Niccaman How does it feel announcing to the world that you're a donk?

  • Pretty ugly spot for QT. Pretty gutsy move.

  • If he raises more on the turn it becomes an easy fold. I think this is close though. He will obv have boats, but if u raise more on the turn i doubt he takes that line with a missed fd.

  • anyone who thinks that was a stupid fold is a donkey

  • @salamander822 anyone who says ''anyone who thinks that was a stupid fold is a donkey'' is a donkey

  • dont blame galfond for that fold at all there. so hard to put klein on a busted draw after a raised turn. looks like he could only call the turn with 2 pair or a set making a boat on the river... sick bluff.

  • there was a 9 out there

  • he played it like a set

  • @Beir17 hidden tony g inside

  • @Beir17 omg i can't stop laughing :))))

  • @Beir17 oahahaha! Right.

  • He might be 10x the player that i am, but that was not a good fold.

  • i hate when they play with there chips, it's just stupid

  • lol at people saying stupid fold

  • Dont ever show your hand to a poker pro.

  • I don't get Galfonds sizing on the turn, if he thought it was a strong likelyhood Klein had a set, he should be bombing that turn with a pot sized raise right there. Even if he thought Klein was on a flushdraw, he could still make it a bigger raise and get called.

  • nice bluf stupid fold altough the fold was stupid, the bluff was really nice, altough it was also stupid, therefore the fold was stupid, altough very nice

  • @mcscheijgrond79 WAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH MADE MY DAY!

  • veeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrry niceeee

  • stupid to show it

  • Stupid host, get rid of Norm he has no idea what poker is.

  • @ghs224 true -_-

  • id have defo re raised him all in STANDAD

  • seen the full episode. GALFOND is an amazing poker player

  • STUPID FOLD NICE STUPID BLUFF

  • STUPID FOLD BUT NICE BLUF

  • @mcscheijgrond79 Why is it a stupid fold Patrick Antonivey?

  • NICE BLUF NICE FOLD

  • STUPID BLUF

    \

  • NICE FOLD

  • VERY STUPID FOLD

  • VERY NICE BLUFF

  • although croaks flop call was SOOOOO BADDDDDDD, I think a 25nl player would ditch it there.nvm what there playin

  • he played it so much like a set, tuff spot i guess and that half pot bet on river....uhh with my vast exprience of 100nl lol, i'd probably fold, but if ur callin the turn to bink one, i guess he should be callin all the way down, ....this hand is beyond me probably or certainly is haha

  • new hightstakes poker bye antonio and laak that would be much lmao

  • Its a very nice bluff

  • @Leu4Life What are you talking about?... If the river was a spade, the amateur has the best hand!! DOH!!!

  • @Leu4Life fail.

  • @Leu4Life

    how?? lol

  • @Leu4Life if the river was a spade he would actually have the best hand, wtf do you mean xD

  • good fold by galfond imo

  • @Happyduderawr yeah it was a good fold, pair of jacks on the table after the river and he raises big, there isn't much he would have unless it was the full house or a complete bluff, which it was

  • Great bluff. Makes perfect sense to represent a full house or even quads on that rivercard. He played it like he flopped a set. Galfond couldn't beat anything but a sick bluff so he had to let his straight go. Impressive play by the amateur.

  • galfond is a class act

  • yeah it's not easy to know that the amateur raises the flop with the flushdraw but phil was a bit in the plo thinking on the river...

  • @patient1988 lol

  • Blind straddle? Can you have a straddle after seeing your cards? lol

  • How did the 9 help anything, was there something I missed from an earlier episode.

  • Commentator sounds like the voice of Death in season 1 Family guy

  • @Senact because it is!

  • welll this will be the last season of HSP. Without Gabe Kaplan this is terrible. Norm McDonald? Seriously? He Norm, it's called "color commentating" for a reason. You're making it more like "grey commentating."

  • juiciest game ever lol

  • good bluff is good.

  • FISHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • For value

  • It was the wrong fold but all galfond could beat was a bluff. Only an complete idiot would fire a massive river bet with worse than q10

  • Great bluff from some old rich oil tycoon, that knows galfond has most his career earnings on the table. phil ivey or negreanu, or some other big bank player woulda busted his old ass

  • @ItsElliottIdiot Your wrong, Galfond made like 13 millions online, so it's was not his most career earnings on the table. Just a nice play by Klein and a pro fold by Galfond!

  • @bigtony1010 well maybe he should go back to online games..a pro fold?? how you come up with that when he folded the best hand?

  • @ItsElliottIdiot I mean, most people will go groke all the times with this types of hands, but Galfond is able to make this type of hard fold and at long terme, it's one mof so many reason why is one of teh best in the game!à

  • @ItsElliottIdiot no, galfond is rich as FUCK. multimillionaire.

  • @chadgarland anything else? what color car does he drive? hows he been doin lately?

  • @ItsElliottIdiot ur a dumbass, you made the dumbass remark about him not having more money then whats on that table....lol this shit is chump change to that guy.

    dont be jealous.

  • @chadgarland I know he's got more money than that u stupid bitch! im jus fuckin around cause this is youtube. youre defending a guy that dont even know you exist! thats being a true dumbass. im just a smartass

  • @ItsElliottIdiot lol you are a fucking moron.

  • I love me some Norm Macdonald, but this is terrible. Needs Gabe Kaplan

  • Is Norm MacDonald doing the commentating?? WTF LOL?

  • @jismjacket High stakes will never be the same...

  • What else would you have called with? lol what if Galfond raises to 100 k or 120K on the turn, is Klein calling? i guess not. But he had to call 30k to get 160k. Thats 20% almost same percentage as his flush draw with one card to come. And there's a gazilion in the pot. Plus implied odds!

  • well played sir

  • If Phil Hellmuth was in this position, he'd have blown off the roof saying what a bad play it was.

If Daniel Negreanu was in this spot.... well, he would have called. The guy never folds a hand. lolz

  • galfond has giant dildoes up his ass while he plays late night poker.

  • Lol fist bump

  • horrendous call by Klein..

  • Wow, what a sports man, Galfond.

  • Is that comentator alive? While he speaks, I mean.

  • @jinetealado He sounds like Norm Macdonald.

  • @Majorbludd817 It IS in fact Norm Macdonald. These are the kind of paying gigs that he takes in between his TV pilots and their subsequent speedy cancellations.
