On DBZ not GT he's already dead on GT along with Frieeza, Gohan defeated Cell with pure amount of energy and disinergrated Cell with it, on GT goku fought Cell and Frieeza (basically even though that wish that lower his accuracy on hits and speed that made him a kid again he can still beat frieeza and cell.)

Yeah, and when Goku fought Cell and Frieza in Hell, he froze them both, then he knocked them over and shattered them into tiny pieces, supposivally killing them for good - but it sort of contridicted itself because they said they couldn't die, since they were already dead.. confusing, but it was an awesome fight. Would have been better if he went super saiyan against them and if it lasted longer, but eh, GT was all a big plothole.
