if u look really, and i mean REALLY closely u can see the maiko's kanzashi and its the new year kanzashi, errr the december one where they get their fav kabuki actor to sign the little tabs on it with dice and arrows and good luck charms and such very pretty dance
not sure the exact name because i am not an expert...but according to "DameDiabolique", this is called a "Miyagawa-cho dance". anyway, this is one of the tradditional japanese dance.
The dance name is called Himesanja.

I don't know how to translate that into English, though. The Maiko and Geiko's names are Fukuya and Chiyoe.
