@Alicia2397 They are direct descendants of Old Man Crazy Horse or Waglula. They are descended from Crazy Horse's sister, Iron Cedar. In the Lakota culture their long ago uncles are quite often referred to as 'Grandfather'. It is their way and the film is presented as such. Most films about Natives have always been presented through the dominant culture's eyes. This film was done in their way so that their story as they know it stayed whole.
