What is obviously going on here is that the race deniers are angry that we have a very obvious model for predicting behavior and even personality in large groups, and we are willing to be like the casino and win at the end of the night, even if we miss a few hands and rounds. Why are you contending that we have equal education? Education even in one city is different from one end of a town to another. Even in one school it can vary by classroom. In Alabama recently it was found the school was so racist if blacks tried to get into honors programs they were discouraged and when a girl made VALEDICTORIAN they appointed a co-Valedictorian because she was black. But these things can be studied and measured. Many don't want them to for ideological reasons. The purpose of the "social construct" canard is to thwart any effort to understand the nature and extent of actual racial differences, whatever they may be.

I can also see skin cancers in the same way, which I am more susceptible to due to my pale skin -- the downside of an adaptation to improve vitamin D production in lower light levels. Neither denotes different "races". Why don't YOU tell Neil deGrasse Tyson that white people are more intelligent than dark people and see what he says to that.

Native americans after all are asian genetically, and they have a lower or similar iq to black people. Thanks for sharing the video. Jensen doesn't answer the questions either. In fact he states that the number of races is up to choice of degree of difference. And he states that races are fuzzy sets. He answers 1) by saying, we can choose. 2) He doesn't answer this properly and 3) He sort of answers this in that one could choose geography and call it "race".
This means that one never really knows if two studies on "race" are comparable because they can use different fuzzy sets and set sizes.

That is not why I made my comment, I quoted that part for fuller context -- I made my comment because of:

There will nearly always be someone more special, and smarter than you, no matter how special and smart you become. To think this is not true is delusional, to think everyone is "special in some way" is daft.

@Judy101101 You could live alone on your own island without any society to socially construct the rock that rolls off a cliff and hits you in the head causing you to feel a lot of pain. The reason why you'd still feel pain in the absence of society is because reality exists. It is your denial of it that is socially constructed.

Really? So if we all could simply agree that bullets through the head don't cause people to die, we could reduce the murder rate. And while were at it, lets just decide starving people don't have to die either.
I mean, its all based on our opinion isn't it, and since all opinions are equally valid, we can save lots of money getting rid of laws and courts and jails.
