The design of our gun only allows for a fan pattern; the width of the fan is dictated by the size of the reversible tip you are using. Our spray gun will accept reversible tips from GRACO and TITAN so you are not limited in selection. For any small detail work you can also use a Fine Finish Reversible Tip that provides an excellent spray pattern, these are as small as a 208 (4 inch wide fan).
Yes, In airless mode it is strictly an airless sprayer. The only time the 2 stage turbine will turn on is when the power switch is place in the “Finish” position.
actually one thing you guys got wrong was the idea that people actually want to remove the line to store it, you put the line on, check it for leaks, and leave it be. Too risky to screw it on every job, sooner or later you wont do it right, or there will be a bit of dried paint that wont let it screw on right, and ruin somebodys carpet / furniture etc.
During field testing we quickly realized that most users do not disconnect the high pressure hose after initial connection. The nice part about the bag is it allows the user to store the air hose and the high pressure hose even if it is still connected to the unit. Everyone loves storage.
are we sure this thing isnt an air-assisted airless? because the gun, and setup look identical, because if this IS an air-assisted airless, and your marketing it as a HVLP you will be loosing alot of sales, most painters dont want to know about a HVLP unit
The best description of this unit is an HVLP assist versus a true HVLP. We still rely on the pressure of the pump and the tip selected to atomize the paint; the air is intended to blow any large particles of paint apart after it exits the tip.
