  • I'll have to say this armor made me really over powered

  • this armor looks like funny in ME2

  • @ragnorokh Looks dumb on anyone other than a dwarf in DA thought, since its the dwarfish armor.

  • You know, there was a time, when I was a lot younger, that I used to care what "genre" a game fit into. I used to get all up in arms about the identity of a game, where it was supposed to fit, and how it was supposed to play. I have since learned to not give a rats ass what "genre" a game fits into and am mainly concerned with whether or not a game is fun. Who gives a $#!+ if a game is a "proper" rpg? o.O If it's fun, you play it...simple.

  • Amen ericrocks11 i have both and they kick ass!

  • do you still get this with new copies or was it only for those who got the first batch?

  • whats the sword name

  • Okay okay, after I played this game a bit more I started getting into it a lot more, so I take back what I said previously about it being a disappointment. It was pretty ace and can't wait for the expansion =)

  • the best 2 rpg's are fallout 3 and DAO no question about it

  • @ericrocks11 True that!

    alth

  • You really havn't played any have you?

  • would i be complaining if i haden't

  • depends on what you like

  • You are casual gamer sense you cant see the diffrance of a action-rpg and a proper rpg.

This is a proper rpg game, games sutch as Fallout 3 and Oblivion have been tweaked for the mass crowds, for the casual gamers.

Dont shit on the style that started it all, less you woudnt have your button smashing Oblivion games today. This is RPG, Oblivion is hardly qualified if it didnt have a level up system whitch is broken anyway. So learn the diffrance.

  • You can't say that Mass Effect is not an RPG.

  • @tyskbulle Actually, Oblivion is seemingly more traditional in the RPG sense. It's a very D&D styled game. The way your character levels up and progresses is reflective of D&D type character sheets. Inclusive, also, are quests and guilds in addition to the overall story arch. Dragon Age is a more modern RPG aimed and providing an interactive storybook feel with the combination of an MMORPG playing style. Perhaps by "proper" RPG you are referring to the MMO fighting style of the game?

  • @pengudeus You cant seriously suggest that Oblivion stays more traditional to the RPG genra then Dragon Age? I mean, if there is sutch a thing as a to be called a proper RPG for PC then its Baldurs Gate, all the way. DA is in my defention a proper modern PC RPG, The leveling ladder in Oblivion is terrible, there hardly is a sheet. Enemys levels up whit you, and the combat is FPS oriented, you can trick most enemy whit a few simpel moves. There is hardly a story or dialogs options.

  • @pengudeus Dont get me totaly wrong here, Ive played Oblivion for over ahundred hours, its a good game whits its open free world. Its just frightens me when people think this is "proper" rpg. In fact its a horrible RPG, but none the less a good game.

  • @tyskbulle this is the best rpg to date. lets hope skyrim is better

  • In Canada it's usally 70$ but I got mine brand new for 40$ at the Boxing Day blowout!

  • what armour is that and shield his wearing?

  • its teh blood dragon armor you fool look above

  • AHH im tired of fucktards like you CAN YOU NOT READ THE TITLE???

  • Blood Dragon Armour (DLC) and some standard iron round shield by the looks of it emerbryan

  • played it already..this is a really good game

  • idk what to get this or assassins creed 2

  • lol, i dunno why you got thumbed down :S but anyway yeah i was in your predicament until i dipped into the 'hidden in the sofa' cash fund, sold some lemoade, washed some cars and BOOM! i'm getting em both, i think you should too because these are games you dont wanna miss out on :D

  • Wait 6 months and the price would have dropped enough for you to buy them both! ;)

  • both?! :D

  • Get this man. i beat both and u can rent ac2 and easily beat it but this is a huge game well worth its money

  • I would say this, but I have not played AC2 so I am a little biased. I say try both.

  • definatly this one

  • GET BOTH... and don't DOUBT IT!!!

  • I can't wait to get my hands on Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2.
