  • 8-( I understand nothing! I work my english, and after I will watch again

  • Thanks for the chart,I need the sheet music for a song, could you do it if i give you the song and artist, which can be found on youtube... Thanks again for the chart

    thanks

    mct63jmj@yahoo.com

  • hey tanks alot man

  • I can easily transpose but dont you think if you cut the Lady Gaga music off in the backround people could understand you or should i say hear you but you have a nice sound .

  • dude you gotta work on your intonation

  • man you helped me out so much. i actually couldn't find that out anywhere

  • Instead of "conversion", you mean "transposition". How to TRANSPOSE notes from tenor to alto, or alto to tenor.

  • do you have like a 'how to play' video or a tab or somethin for dreamin with a broken heart so i can convert it to alto??

  • Tee hee..I loved the way you explained thislol

  • um tuning problem you got there?

  • yeah you were totally right and also totally out of tune....

as for transposing, just remember alto is a fourth above tenor..

  • u forgot d#3

  • @anthonyianryanshane im talking about on the alto sax side

  • wow thats sooo helpful. i can really use this 2 get started on tenor i play all the e flat saxophones like alto, baritone, sopranino. i wanted 2 try the tenor this will be useful!!!

  • It Sounds Like Yur Readinqq Bingo Cause Yur Sayinqq F1 Into The Mic ! Lmfaoo , Awesome Video , Good Helpp . =) -Tasja

  • its going to suck balls converting a whole song from tenor to alto

  • I couldn't find the chart on photobucket either

  • Look at the decription

  • Hi, thanks for the help with the charts, but I have a question, I have a book called 100 pop solos for sax, it then says its for tenor and alto sax but then there is only one staff with notes for the fingerings, how can that be? as they sound different...

  • The fingerings for the written notes are the same

  • yeah i cant find the chart lol whats it under?

  • man when you tired playing where there was a line that was AWOMSE you got to teach me!

  • xxx on chart lol

  • This might sound alittle stupid...but um how do i find this on photobucket.. lol

  • @Tariq1992Z A link is in the description my good friend XD

  • Yea yea, and on the tenor I skipped the "real" A1, the low A. It's just understood that you can't play F#3 on tenor and you can't play A1 on alto hahaha =D

  • WELCOME IN THE STARS -WORLD....

  • damn tune!!!!!!Like my music teacher always said, "TUNE IT OR DIE!!!!!"

  • LOL thats totaly agreed. u should neva play the 1-1 Bb on the sax EVER. its really out of tune. instead, try the 1-2-side key.

  • thanks so much i play alto sax im pretty good but your wayyyy better

  • HOLY SHIT. you need a fucking tuner

  • Haha ilove you

  • Thank you soo much :D I'm a beginning alto sax player, and it always sucked to find really good easy songs for tenor :(

  • OH MY GOD AT 4:00 he was listening to a song by daft punk called digital love.and the funny part is i just finished listening to it.HAHA.someone owes me money.

  • thanks much man, ive been doin this the hard way for a while

  • I WANT YOU NIKES

    :)

    coops

  • i got one glitch charlez lol y u soo damn good at everything haha this really helps thumbs up!!!

  • very helpful thank you

  • Thanks a lot, this is going to be extremely helpful. .D

  • nice kix

  • does this work with bari sax?

  • bari sax has the same staff notes as an alto, like their G's are fingered the same. So yeah it would work

  • I do this automatically in my head now...

But I used to use the clarinet's lower register to help me transpose from alto to tenor (vise versa)... anybody else use this method?

  • And oh yeah, you missed high Eb and high F# an the alto side of your chart.;)

  • Yea, I know. I'm no beginner, but a lot of my subscribers are, so I wanted to help them out on this one ;)

And yea, I left out the F# and Eb, because the chart would have been two pages with those notes. I left the low A on the tenor side off for the same reason. I appreciate your awareness though!

  • Good job. But this will only be useful to beginners. Get the notes in your head and mesmorize them. Not that hard.

  • and easier way to do this is bye learning your concert notes if you play and instrument you need to learn the concert notes...for example concert F IS A D OF ALTO SAX AND A G FOR TENER SAX SO WAT DO YOU LEARN FROM THIS THAT THE NOTES R 2 AND HAFT STEP APART..AND THAS HOW YOU CAN CONVERT THE NOTES FROM ALTO TO TENOR OR THE OTHER WAY AROUND LOL...

  • wait what's the notes fore live in the sky and were can i get them

  • dam dis is dam cool of ya to do this for all of us! thanks man!

  • No prob =)

  • It's Good. But I thought converting alto to tenor Or Vice verser keeps the same amount of semitone gaps between each note. So as long as you figure out how many semitone gap there is. Its the same for all the notes :)

  • Yes, you're exactly right. It's a 2.5 tone gap to be precise. (from alto to tenor go up 2.5 steps, tenor to alto down 2.5 steps), but I wanted to make it easier by simply writing them all out, so people could just look them all up without confusion. But yes, you are 100% correct =)

  • Haha! Now you have done two favours for me! Wrote out the chart that i couldn't be bothered to do! =D And tell me the semitone Gap. mann i want to shake your hand =]

  • Haha man, it's really no problem, that's what I'm here for. It's just that a lot of random people and a lot of my subscribers (like yourself) were asking me to change what I wrote to the other instrument and I was just too overwhelmed lol so I finally wrote out the chart that I personally use. Not a problem at all man, if you have any questions just hit me up any time ;)

  • lol hey charlie nice vid, i get it, it helpfull lol your funny at 4:33 lol
