  • hm... for christmas its probably potatoe salad with sausages .... we personaly dont make it, but a lot of people do :)

  • Ah~! I have never had adobo that way before, I'm so excited to try it!

  • This looks incredibly delicious!...I'm from Pakistan. In my opinion, the quintessential signature dish of Pakistan would be a "Chicken Qourma" the word, Qourma is Turkish for "braise".Chicken qourma is essentially, chicken meat braised in yogurt, and aromatic spices. Its a celebratory dish served with flat bread. Its truly delicious and very festive!

  • @OwaisiawO1 In India, they call it Chicken Korma, right? I have had the Indian version. Do the Indian and Pakistani versions differ? Either way, it sounds delicious!

  • @MrJingjong Not entirely, the basic structure is the same. The Pakistani version is influenced by cuisines from neighbouring countries like the use of "rose water" which is very typical of Iranian food, use of dried fruits which is a tradition from Afghanistan,,this imparts a whole new dimension to the dish, gives wonderful sweetness, and exotic spices from China like the use "star anise" and firey hot chilies and other whole spices from India like the use of curry leaves etc....

  • @OwaisiawO1 in my opinion this dish is sooo lavish and rich......Its fit for Sultans and kings!...

  • nice twist bro!

  • I don't know what China's signature dish is but I do love Chinese cuisine :)

  • @LSE200 When you've had Kabsa, do you usually have it with chicken, lamb or something else?

  • @MrJingjong I had it usually with chicken make rice bit dry but eatable , lamb make the rice is super greasy for me I can't eat it

  • Yum! My mum makes it differently to this. She used garlic, onion and ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar ect. I've never tried it like this, so I may make it for my family! :D Thank you for this dish :D

  • Chicken Rice !!

  • SINIGANG xD

  • @TheKokopanpan oooh, Sinigang. There's a recipe I have to do a video for...

  • Ooh YUM!! Looks really moist!!

  • I love how many varieties of adobo there is. My parents alone cook different kinds. With coconut milk, like this one. Adobong puti, or adobo without the soy. Sometimes with brown sugar, other times with tomatoes. Or even with chicken liver mashed in.

  • @hamificationable My mom makes it with the chicken liver. lol. I like the puti version too!

  • Hahaha. Thanks Mr JingJong. My mom is going home to PH for christmas and this is one fast easy recipe i can try out without burning the apartment. Mabuhay ka kuya!
