@reinholdmessner how was the consistency though? i never thought the taste would be bad, but the sharp hard shell seems a little gross
was it cooked ? and crunchy? usually the pincers are impossible to eat unless cooked because of their hardness

@mattchibi to me it tasted like a bunch of green potato chips, it was salty and oily. A bit nutty as well. it was somewhat sharp, like a dry fava bean. it had been dipped quickly into hot oil and salted.

@ancalites when i tried it was super crunchy and tasted almost a little sour/bitter and fishy. More like shrimp than crab.

Yeah, it would be cooler to see you cut off it's stinger and pincers of a bigger one, and then eat it. I imagine eating a live squid is also quite...satisfying...for some people.

hey tthat is in china.... I ate one of those scorpion shish kababs in the beijing food street. It tasted like shrimp.
