  • i've always wanted to dive this since i went here as a kid and saw it!!! i just did a little freedive into the entrance and it was amazing from what i could see. i need to log some hours diving so i can get certified for this!!! thanks for the video!

  • what depth is this

  • @rescuediver1000 ~70' to 90'... sometimes a bit deeper.

  • "Divers are Scotty Wernette and Don Costanza. Shot by Brandon Schwartz using a Digital 8 (Sony TRV350) cam."

so also brandon schwartz is a diver.

  • Great video with a great Amy Lee's song! I've just bought my twinset cylinders and planning a cave dive training here in Brasil.

  • Shit, don't run out of air or batteries!

  • Great vid, great shots, heading there Feb 6-14th. Only adv nitr & deco so no real deep penetration. You guys did a great job.

  • I am 14 years old and I have always been interested in caves ever since I can remember, but I've never tried it before and I would love to.-Talia Turner

  • @Raquelt097, find a scuba dive center in your city/state and begin a open water scuba diving training. Go ahead until you have all the skills necessary to cave diving.

  • Florida must have a network of underwater caverns that extend far past what many novices (like me) would ever consider supoorting limestone karst regions! What an incredible world you guys share with us... exploring the unknown crevices of this planet must be an incredible, life-changing experience! Excellent footage! Hope to see lots more! This stuff interests me intensely!

  • wow thatd be awesome to do, and scary too.

if something goes wtong down there youre screwed

  • It's incredibly dangerous, even for divers that have been trained and properly equipped. It's about as close as you can come to being in outer space, here on Earth.

  • Thanks to all for the nice comments!!

  • Why do they call this Devil's Cave? I see no Demons

  • Because it's made of Devil's food cake....

  • i just started scuba and i'm 13 i can't wait to get in the water i'm still on my certification course... it's goonna be so much fun,... but this is the type of dives i wanna do ...i'd like to hear more about some of ur experiences

    thankx

  • cool im 15 and really looking forward to getting my liscense when i get to be a better swimmer. do you have to be 16 to get your diving liscense?

  • Can't wait! I start my cave training next weekend at Ginnie!

  • Nice!

  • WISH I WAS THERE

  • i've started my PADI scuba diving course now .. sumtime in a few years i cant wait to get the opportunity to do thiss!!

  • THats freakin awesome

  • Well shot scuba video, much better than most, ive been there before but I don't have the ball to cave dive though.

    brando

  • My mom wont let me scuba dive do you have any ideas for convincing her?

  • move out

  • im 12 lol

  • Give her the facts scuba diving in the ocean is very safe one of the safest sports in the world.Just keep working at her.

When your talking about cave diving well then thats something else.

  • for the tiny cracks he should of tried side mounting, great video, Has anyone ever heard of the Rouses?

  • ginnie=the best damn cave diving in the states...great vid.

  • Very nice, everything is better with led zeppelin

  • look up

UNDERWATER PIPELINE FOUND ON GOOGLE EARTH

  • Are there any good Scuba diving spots near Connecticut?

    I doubt so...

I want to dive at hawii and the great barrier reef and such but its sooo expensive..

  • hey man gotta tell ya i live in australia and the barrier reef whilst is a must dive is actually outclassed now by Ningaloo reef on the western side of australia

  • i hope to go to aussie one day and go scuba diving there

  • Really great video. Please post info about depths and penetration in feet/meters if you can. Looks like a shallow dive. 2 unmarked tanks. Things like that give people info about whether they need to be a tech diver with heliox or just advanced with cave diving certification.

  • That's Ginnie cave system (Devil's)...very well known and highly visited. The depths are ~100' average...high flow though and I like to use a 30/30 mix. One needs to be full cave cert'd to get to the ~1000' penetration in the video.

Glad you liked the video an dthanks for the comment!!

    Best,

    brandon

  • 30/30 mix? hm.....

  • Awesome dive, awesome music! Check out my Yucatan video.

  • im very into diving havent got my licence yet =( i wana tho and im going to genni springs =)

  • Great vid...however i think it should be emphasized that NO ONE should try cave diving without proper training, equipment, procedures, safety gear, etc. Many once popular cave dive spots in florida and other locations are now closed to divers due to the deaths of the unexperienced and unwise. Think about it...i've been there...done that.

  • Yes you are right.Proper training should be taken before diving.I had seen such training videos at splashvision . com.Learners should visit this site.

  • now thats the thing i want to see make more videos like this!!!!!!

  • Well shot video of one of my favorite dives of all time. I could almost feel the current in the gallery, at the lips and the keyhole. Soundtrack is a little 70s, but what the hey.

  • Thanks for that. What beautiful water.

  • yet another great video BCSDive... you've sparked an interest in cave diving for me! Thanks :)

  • wow .. I like it .. 5* from me :-)

  • great vid, but not something ill do myself!

  • Seconded!! Awsome but I never could
