i've always wanted to dive this since i went here as a kid and saw it!!! i just did a little freedive into the entrance and it was amazing from what i could see. i need to log some hours diving so i can get certified for this!!! thanks for the video!
I am 14 years old and I have always been interested in caves ever since I can remember, but I've never tried it before and I would love to.-Talia Turner
@Raquelt097, find a scuba dive center in your city/state and begin a open water scuba diving training. Go ahead until you have all the skills necessary to cave diving.
Florida must have a network of underwater caverns that extend far past what many novices (like me) would ever consider supoorting limestone karst regions! What an incredible world you guys share with us... exploring the unknown crevices of this planet must be an incredible, life-changing experience! Excellent footage! Hope to see lots more! This stuff interests me intensely!
It's incredibly dangerous, even for divers that have been trained and properly equipped. It's about as close as you can come to being in outer space, here on Earth.
This is scary if u read this this far u will die in 10 days if u dont send to any 15 videos in 2 hours good luck hope u dont die !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just started scuba and i'm 13 i can't wait to get in the water i'm still on my certification course... it's goonna be so much fun,... but this is the type of dives i wanna do ...i'd like to hear more about some of ur experiences
hey man gotta tell ya i live in australia and the barrier reef whilst is a must dive is actually outclassed now by Ningaloo reef on the western side of australia
Really great video. Please post info about depths and penetration in feet/meters if you can. Looks like a shallow dive. 2 unmarked tanks. Things like that give people info about whether they need to be a tech diver with heliox or just advanced with cave diving certification.
That's Ginnie cave system (Devil's)...very well known and highly visited. The depths are ~100' average...high flow though and I like to use a 30/30 mix. One needs to be full cave cert'd to get to the ~1000' penetration in the video.
Glad you liked the video an dthanks for the comment!!
Great vid...however i think it should be emphasized that NO ONE should try cave diving without proper training, equipment, procedures, safety gear, etc. Many once popular cave dive spots in florida and other locations are now closed to divers due to the deaths of the unexperienced and unwise. Think about it...i've been there...done that.
Yes you are right.Proper training should be taken before diving.I had seen such training videos at splashvision . com.Learners should visit this site.
Well shot video of one of my favorite dives of all time. I could almost feel the current in the gallery, at the lips and the keyhole. Soundtrack is a little 70s, but what the hey.
