PLZ!
@iron888888 Base on the operating system alone Mac os is better. But base on what you can do Linux is better. Better looking : Mac
Linux : Free
Mac : 100 something buck
Mac : Compatible (HARDLY (it only compatible with some nvidia video card)
Linux (Definitely compatible)
Mac : cool program and app (better than Linux)
However what good about mac is that Mac have less chance of data corruption and it have much longer durability. It mac notebook with 700mhz cpu run smoother than window xp 1.4ghz
@GAFFX lol you a retard , Why you hating on window? there is a lot cool game for window . For some one probably like you only play game system and have no skill in game or neva play a free game.
I would go for something like the Asus F8Sn-C1 if I were you, for £600 it is a powerhouse. It has Core2Duo T9300 2 x 2.5GHz, 3GB DDR2 RAM, GeForce 9500M GS 512mb, 14" Screen (not small once you have seen it), 320GB 5400rpm HDD, full keyboard, HDMI out, VGA out, DVD-RW drive 8x, SD card slots.
I dont get this, I just bought a DV 9686oe and I can barely play the game on medium settings, and you play it on high on DV9000t, I just dont get this, how do you optimize it?
Oh yeah, untill i get that extra GB of ram, should i just install Windows XP? since the OS doesnt molest your ramage R-Kelly at a middle school? lmao.either way im sure that running crysis on XP with 1GB will produce much better game speeds correct?
Hmm i see what you mean. the laptop i have now, 1GB of ram and single amd athlon 64 @ 2.6GHz boggs down a bit when inviting all my Crysis enemy freinds in the game to come and play with my flock of Nades [lmao] but not TOO bad. once i tweak the settings file i can yank away alot of useless shadow/lighting effects, along with the SKY/CLOUDS and blamo, theres a Nade in my pants and everybodies blowin!...no wait, thats not how it goes.................
on tht laptop you'll need at least 2gb of mem. the card on it is decent but it plays, and the cpu will just hold you back on the physics. [such as having a grenade party in one of those huts]
see people r not smart i have a 8600m gs card and i can run crysis like this or beter by lowering some stuf and rasing somethings on very hoigh and tweak it to look like i was playin on a 8800 ultra
lags like a hell :oo

hey if you had fraps why arent you just recording with that?
mrbrightside8313 3 years ago
Fraps kills the performance. This way certain people try to get away with it by saying "I swaere it run smewfth wifout frasps".

sketchacker 4 years ago
uh. not necessarily vista slows crysis. mostly its just the dx10 settings or sumtin
u can force crysis to play in dx9 which is the same as playing in XP basically
just make a shortcut to crysis.exe and at the end of the target [in properties] just add -dx9
you can google this "crysis force dx9"
Krishan 4 years ago
In vista just click on the start menu then games on the right. From there right click crysis and click play DX9
QuickCon 3 years ago
ummm dx9 in vista still sucks crap compared to xp, so no, that wont help much
skarekrow73 3 years ago
lol no you can download ęrd party patch and youll can play crysis with dx10 efects
mantiniho 3 years ago
Wait a year and then there'll be laptops which run crysis easily. I think >_>

Wow i dont get those speeds on EVERYTHING LOW/OFF on a single cpu amd athlon 2.6GHz, 1GB ram, 256MB ATi Radeon x600.
So im guessing this new laptop im fixing to buy for 700 bucks wont have any issues running crysis?
AMD Athlon 64 x2 @ 1.7GHz
1GB Ram
Nvidia 8600M GS 256MB Dedicated
Eventually i will toss 2-4GB of ram into it, sure that helps lol.
sketchacker 4 years ago

i know crysis @ these settings is almost way out of its league on this card, I'm just merely showing the card's capability.
It's just another "what if's videos"
i actually run mostly medium settings, low resolution, and high on things that dont reduce fps by much [texture, physics, effects]
average is 20fps but its playable to me.
Krishan 4 years ago
yay! we both have dv9500t's + Crysis, woot woot haha.
